Third Times a Charm

This was the third time me and my family chose to stay at Southern Comfort. It was just as pleasant as the first time. After being together all day, it was nice to come home and have enough space to mellow out by one's self in a bedroom, on the porch, or in the yard. Everything we needed was there. Thanks for the southern hospitality!

Beautiful setting

The trees and sunset are delightful. The house is spacious but smelled very strongly of mildew. We had to air it out upon arrival. Even still it was a very strong odor. The beds were comfortable and it worked well for our family trip.

USMC Graduation

Great location to Parris Island and convenient to stores etc. Would highly recommend this as the go to location for a larger group coming in for the events.

Cute cottage great location Martha the manager was super nice and always available to help us not fancy just very southern beach comfort we will definitely stay here again close to town and good restaurants view of bay marsh and river across street in open space was beautiful

Marine Graduation

Beautiful property with a large kitchen and plenty of bedrooms. Perfect for our large family. The only downside was we spent so much time on the Island we had very little time to really enjoy the property! Would definitely recommend!

Nice, Quaint, Southern Home

This was a beautiful, southern home that was comfortable and very clean. It was exactly what we needed for a few days while visiting Parris Island, as my son graduated as a Marine!! It was about 18-20 min from PI but an easy drive. Would definitely recommend! 10/10 😀

Charming Low Country Home with Water View

The house was well-stocked and clean. Fresh linens and towels were provided. The property manager was very responsive. Easy check-in and check-out. Very convenient to Parris Island, Port Royal, and Beaufort! Would definitely stay there again!

Wedding Weekend in Beaufort

This house at 260 Brickyard Point Road,South was perfect for 4 couples attending a wedding in the Low Country. Close to Beaufort. House had everything you could want. Especially the kitchen. Agent - Martha O'Reagon was very accomodating.

Nice house in a nice area.

It’s a nice house in a nice area. Only about 15-20 minutes from Parris Island and it’s an easy commute. The house is nice just as others have stated it’s very dated. We would stay again if we were in the area.

Relaxing!

This was the halfway point for all of my mom’s siblings to meet one more time before one of them passes away. The crowd I traveled with was well into their 80s and 90s. While this house is not handicapped accessible, it was a lovely and relaxing place for everybody to stay. It was roomy, comfortable, and very clean. We made ourselves at home and it felt just like being at grandmas house. Everything we needed was right there and it was only minutes from good restaurants, entertainment, and the water. I would highly recommend this place and would certainly stay there again.

The house was overall nice, but absolutely full of roaches, had the everywhere in the bathroom and kitchen, our friend even had some in the bed with him. House definitely needs updating and a exterminator!!!!!!! Now we have to worry about carrying them home in our bags :-(

Awesome Time

This rental was perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for evening meals. We also enjoyed playing games, and putting a couple of puzzles together. We caught one of the beautiful sunsets across the street, and enjoyed looking for shark teeth at nearby Sands Beach. We will definately rent Southern Comfort again.

First experience with vrbo

The home was lovely. It was clean and well maintained. Communications between us and the property manager were very good. The home worked well for the size and dynamics of our group. Our family was there for Marine Corps graduation and the home is located conveniently for that occasion. The view of the sunset over the water from the look out across the road is fabulous. Also close to stores and restaurants if any are necessary. Had a wonderful family time.

Graduation at Grandma's house

Family visiting from Texas and NC with friends from Beaufort. Definitely enjoyed ourselves many comments from family and friends was all about how it felt we were at our grandmother's house. Check in and check out was easy. I recommend taken a cup of coffee in the morning and go across the street for the sun rising it was amazing view. Older home with southern charm

Family Reunion

Our stay at Southern Comfort was Great! The home was well stocked, very comfortable and inviting. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own room. We enjoyed taking pictures in the back yard, it made for Great family photos and the public park across the street was great for evening sunset viewing. We would stay again and Martha the property manager was a real gem, she went out of her way to make sure things were right for us. We had a Great week and were glad we chose to stay at this property and wouold do so again.

Comfortable stay

We were very happy with this rental. Although the home is quite dated, and could use some repairs. But it was very well located, the backyard is fantastic. The house was larger than I expected, so that was a nice surprise. The kitchen was well equipped. Perfect for a younger family. I would not hesitate to recommend this home.

Southern Charm

This charming home was a perfect fit for my family to gather together and celebrate our new Marine grandson’s graduation from boot camp. It was clean and well equipped yet just “lived in” enough for us to feel comfortable and relaxed. The owner’s personality can be sensed throughout the home because of the books and personal items she left behind. We highly recommend Southern Comfort; the name truly fits!

Charming

Location was fantastic. Plenty of room. Quaint southern charm. Not very modern but we love the old southern feel. Everything you need is there for your stay. The tree in the back yard was beautiful loved the books you could read about Beaufort . The outdoor grill needed some repairs. They take care of everything for you. Ownership very attentive and respond very quickly.
