Ed's View - Look no further for a fantastic place to play and relax – for a weekend, a week, or longer. Located on the eastern side of Lake Martin, 1.5 miles outside of Dadeville city limits and only 3 miles from Still Waters Resort.

This property is only one hour from Montgomery, two hours from Atlanta, 75 minutes from Birmingham and 30 minutes from Auburn. Numerous great restaurants are only a few minutes away along with a Renfroe’s grocery store in Dadeville. Enjoy comfort and convenience like nowhere else. You can’t be anywhere else on the lake and be as close to Auburn and Atlanta. This property is ideal for families or couples, wanting to share expenses and fun. Well-behaved children are always welcome. This waterfront property looks out on a spectacular view with a gentle, sloping lot. Enjoy the calm waters of Sandy Creek.

There is a large boat dock and a floating dock. Water is year-round but can be shallow when the water is dropped. There are tables and chairs on the dock with ceiling fans along with shades for blocking the afternoon sun. There is an electrical outlet on the dock as well as lights. This property includes an extra-long concrete private boat launch.

The house is fully furnished including washer, dryer, two T.V.’s with cable and DVDs. Wi-Fi is also available. Brand new bed and bath linens are provided. The kitchen is stocked with all essential appliances, cookware, dinnerware, barware, and utensils. The two-story home includes on ground level two bedrooms (one king, one queen), bathroom with shower, laundry area, eat-in kitchen and living area. The screen porch is where one can relax and enjoy the beautiful view. On the upper level there are three bedrooms (two kings, one queen) and a private sleeping nook (one double), one bathroom with separate tub and shower, large living room and porch overlooking the lake.

The house sleeps 12 in beds comfortably. There is one screen porch on the ground level and one open air porch upstairs. There is a brand-new gas grill for grilling lakeside. There’s a porch swing on the screened porch and a table with five chairs. Games are available for use. There's also a basketball goal near the top of the property for more outdoor fun. There are five parking pads and plenty of over-flow parking at the top of the property.

There are exterior cameras to monitor the exterior of our home. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without any refund.

Also, this property is less than five minutes by boat, or five minutes by car to Smith Mountain, which opened in the summer of 2011. At Smith Mountain, you can hike to the top of Smith Mountain and climb its historic and newly restored Fire Tower. On a clear day there is a 50-mile view!

Our multi-generational family has enjoyed this house for years. It's comfortable, cozy and is somewhere you'll be able to relax easily. Nothing too fancy, nothing too shabby...it's just right. Give us a try and you'll be back!
