Everything you need is here for you and your guests to get away and enjoy themselves. Take a break from the water and relax in the Boat House or play in the Game Room. Sandy lake bottom and plenty of green grassy shoreline to keep you comfortable while enjoying the water. Pontoon rental is available too!

Spring break winter wonderland!

Beautiful comfy home in a great area. The house was clean and well taken care of. Owner was prompt and thorough with any response needed. We didnt get to enjoy the lake as we visited in mid-March, but it was a perfect get away for a few days with the family!

It’s a beautiful property very relaxing. Enjoyed the sunrise, with views across the lake of the skyline of downtown Minneapolis, beautiful! Ryan, the property manager, is very helpful with anything that you need. You can’t go wrong with this rental!

Perfect Home for our Family

First off, the pictures do not do the home justice - much better in person! Overall the home was very clean and in a safe neighborhood! There is a trail nearby that we walked our dogs on everyday and always felt safe and secure. The kitchen was well stocked. The home has a gorgeous view, comfortable beds, and a great hot tub. We would definitely come back. Communication with host was fantastic as well - very timely and kind.

Medicine Lake

We absolutely loved our Medicine Lake rental. The house is in an amazing location with fantastic views of the lake. The neighborhood was quiet but easy to get around. Our host could not have been more accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was very clean and spacious, and had an excellent home office. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a summer vacation rental (or any time of year).

Wonderful house, great location

Our group of 5 adults loved the house and environs. Sweeping views of the lake with large deck and grill to enjoy outside meals. The house was clean and well-appointed with spacious master's suite on main floor, 2 large bedrooms upstairs and a rec room/home theater downstairs. Proximity to Clifton French Park and regional bike trails provide nearby recreation options. Only 15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and close to groceries, gas etc. but felt like a secluded get-away.

I am from Winona, located in the south east corner of Minnesota. My family and I live in the north suburbs of the Twin Cities. I really enjoy interacting all of the home's great guests. We are so lucky to have such wonderful people from all over the world stay at the home.

Why they chose this property

The other properties for rent on Medicine Lake have a fairly busy road between their yard and shoreline. The calm and quiet of this area is like nothing else on this metropolitan lakefront. This home is on a very quiet dead-end street and borders a large park/preserve. The front entrance is on this very private street and the backyard leads directly to the boat house and lake.

What makes this property unique

An epic view of the lake to east with the Minneapolis skyline draped behind it can be captured while you relax in the hot tub. You will enjoy the beautiful sun rises from almost every room in the house. The boat house is open year round for our guests. You are welcome to use the dock if it is in the water during your stay. Pontoon rental is available with respect to the season. Dock and boat lifts are removed seasonally.
