Charming 1910 farm house, in a great Hamptons location. Walk to the bay and town, 15 minutes from ocean beach. South of the Highway on quiet dead end street. The house is sunny, freshly painted, and tastefully decorated with works of art. Comfortable with many places to relax , read and unwind. Cable TV and Wifi are provided. Large yard with mature plantings and shade.Downstairs has a large eat-in kitchen with cathedral ceiling and sky light, two parlors and a Four Seasons sun room, also a covered screened in porch and a bed room with two twin beds and attached bathroom. There is also an out door shower! Upstairs are three more beautifully decorated bedrooms. Two with queen size beds and one with a full size bed. There is also a bathroom with a claw foot tub. Wainscoted through out, this house is full of character and a great place to relax surrounded by beauty, comfort, good karma and positive energy. Owned by the same family for over 40 years this is a true gem!

Restful getaway

We chose this listing because of the proximity to the beach and town of Southampton . It’s in a charming quiet town just a short drive to shopping dining and beach . Home is clean and well equipped with whatever your needs are . We enjoyed our stay .

Warm and welcoming stay

We had a lovely time in this eclectic and well worn spot. Was great to have all the beach and cooking necessities and then some available. We loved checking out the books, cooking on the grill and hanging out in the sunroom.

Great Farmhouse in East Quogue

The host was very easy to deal with and very considerate and responsive. The house is old, but its in pretty good shape, there is alot of the owners possessions in the space these are eclectic and interesting, did not bother us a bit. Location is great, walking distance to the town. Overall a very good experience, appropriately prices for the market and what it is.

Charming and Serene

This house is very roomy with living rooms, bedrooms, porches and sunrooms; it has lots of charm with very attractive antiques and vintage decor. The location is super quiet with a quite large backyard, ample enough for games and a firepit for lounging and making s'mores. The beds are comfy and the kitchen well equipped. We loved our stay here and would definitely return!

Happy stay near the beach in quaint old home.

We had a great time at Matthew’s place. It is brilliantly located down a quiet street with swift access to great beaches. The town is a short walk with an excellent butcher/deli. We made friends with some nice neighbours. Matthew was a fantastic host. He could not have been more kind and helpful. He responded to all messages immediately. He was generous too, lending us a personal item which made a big difference to our stay. We also used his bikes to get about. The house has lots of character. This is very much a lived-in family holiday home. All kitchen cupboards and drawers are filled with owners’ belongings. If you’re looking for minimalist, modern living this isn’t the place for you. We loved it. Garden/yard is a good size with a fire pit. Watch out for Long Island mosquitoes though at least in July - they bit all day long in the garden. Come with high end repellant! The screened-in porch is a great place to hang out. The outdoor shower gets top prize though! There is a good gas grill. We really enjoyed our time here. It is a home with a real sense of history. And the host could not be better.

Great stay for work in Calverton

Our team had a wonderful stay here. Matt was a fantastic, communicative host and it was the perfect place to come back to after a long day of work. The guys really enjoyed their stay here and appreciated Matt's hospitality.
