Daily Housekeeping and Personalized Dining
Your dedicated caretaker Reyna ensures the villa is kept immaculate each day excluding Sundays. Crisp linens, perfectly made beds, and spotless living spaces mean you can sit back and relax.

Reyna can also prepare authentic Costa Rican breakfasts, light lunches, or afternoon snacks with groceries provided by guests. For a small additional fee, she can prepare the catch of the day or a local dinner served for those who want to dine in the comfort of their home.

Our stay at Casa Timlin was GREAT! We utilized the concierge for all our transfer needs and excursions. Reyna was a delight to see every morning and we asked her to cook us up a wonderful meal that we had at the house. Walking distance the beach and restaurants. The pool was a delight for the afternoon sun. Accommodations were very comfortable and The stereo system was a BONUS. Casa Timlin is a definite 10 !!! Book it! Before someone else does!

All I can say is W O W.Tim our host was extremely prompt in getting back to us in every conversation we had. Tim has a fantastic house. It's modern, clean, and well stocked. He is easy to reach and communication was easy. The house is within walking distance to the beach, however, it is on a steep hill and may not be easy for all. I would recommend having a car for ease of getting around.

Our stay at Casa Timlin in Costa Rica was absolutely incredible—easily a 5-stars-plus experience and one we will never forget.The highlight of the property is undoubtedly the infinity pool and hot tub, which overlook a breathtaking view of the water. Whether it was morning coffee, an afternoon swim, or watching the sunset from the hot tub, the view never got old. It truly felt like our own private slice of paradise.The location is also fantastic. The house has easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants, which made exploring the area simple and fun. The walk back up to the house is a bit steep, but honestly it just made returning to the stunning views at the top even more rewarding.A huge thank you to Tim, the host, who was incredibly accommodating. He responded quickly to any questions and was so easygoing and helpful throughout our stay. It made the entire experience seamless and stress-free.We also have to give special recognition to Reyna, the extraordinary housekeeper. We'd stay here again for sure. The house is great. New, modern, spacious. The pool and hot tub were very nice with breathtaking views from them and the entire front of the house. Short walk downhill to the beach, although parking at the beach was also very easy.

We absolutely LOVED our visit to Casa Timlin. The house was literally amazing! The views were unbelievable. The pictures do not do it justice. Our Favorite thing to do was watch the sunsets from the pool everyday. Every meal that we ate at the house we ate outside. This place has all the amenities and the views are breathtaking from every room in the house. Tim was an awesome host who was there to answer any questions we had and made us feel right at home. We didn’t even know that Reyna was there it seemed like our beds were magically made each day and the house was clean when we would get home from our excursions that Ian helped us schedule. My family of 5 had the time of our lives. We loved Costa Rica so much we can’t wait to come back. When we do come back we will only stay at Casa Timlin.Pura Vida!

What an amazing place to stay on the Playa Del Coco coast!! We enjoyed Tim's home so much we never wanted to leave! Everything about the home is 5-star - from the comfortable beds, bathroom amenities, fully-stocked kitchen, infinity pool, deck furniture, etc., etc. We just wished we had stayed longer. Tim has thought of everything and is so kind. He has great people working for him to help with concierge services, housekeeping and meal preparation. He has such nice touches, including beautiful flowers to enjoy during your stay. We are looking for a reason to return to Costa Rica just to stay at Tim's place again!

BEYOND WORDS! Our stay was absolutely amazing. From the minute we checked in, we knew we had made the right choice of where to stay. The house had everything we needed (and then some), the pool and hot tub were incredible, Tim (the host) was attentive and helpful, and Reyna (the housekeeper) absolutely made our stay - she cooked us a couple of dinners (a must-do if you book your trip here). The location was easy to get to a lot of different areas/beaches, but coming back to the house was always something we looked forward to - just wait until you see the sunsets. We can't say enough about this home ... other than book it!! You will not be disappointed!

Amazing house with spectacular views!

We stayed at Casa Timlin during spring break 2025. The house is gorgeous with tons of modern amenities and priceless views of the bay. Tim, Ian and Reyna went out of their way to make us feel at absolutely on vacation. Ian knows lots of people and was able to get us a beautiful boat for the next day! I could not say enough positive words about this home! We had truly the best time at Casa Timlin - everything was wonderful - beds comfortable, great bathrooms, perfect pool and deck, the most stunning views and sunsets you can imagine. The Timlin house delivered on its promises! The house is beautifully situated in a great location. You can walk to great restaurants and Coco beach. The house has everything you need from towels to grill to amazing views! Just loved waking up to those views over a cup of coffee and winding down for the evening with a glass of wine! Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, I resigned from Bayer Healthcare and set out on a life-changing journey to Costa Rica over 20 years ago. Playas del Coco became home, and over the years, I not only designed and built this dream property, but also founded and operated one of the largest luxury property management and vacation rental companies in the Guanacaste region. What you'll experience at Casa Timlin is the culmination of 18 years of delivering high-end vacation rentals with a focus on service, comfort, and authenticity.

In 2024, I sold my company and traded the flip-flops and beach lifestyle for the tranquility of the mountains. I now live about 90 minutes away near the stunning Río Celeste waterfall, where I develop real estate, operate a sustainable farm, and personally manage guest stays at Casa Timlin. The home is listed exclusively on VRBO and is offered to select guests during specific times of the year.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my 2 boys, riding Enduro motorcycles, dancing (Salsa, Merengue, Bachata), traveling, and building custom exotic wood furniture using prestigious local hardwoods many of which you’ll see throughout Casa Timlin.

This isn’t just another rental it’s a home. Professionally maintained, supported by a seasoned team, and backed by a deep foundation in hospitality and knowledge. Every detail reflects the care, comfort, and quality every guest deserves.
