My family and I moved to Asheville in 2021, via Chicago. We love all that the area has to offer, including plentiful hikes, breweries, and great restaurants.
Why they chose this property
We love the Swannanoa area! It's conveniently located to both Asheville (15 mins) and Black Mountain (10 mins). The area is very quiet with lots of woods and many parks and hiking trails, but still has easy access to I-40.
What makes this property unique
Our rental cabin is built around a shipping container - seriously! The shipping container is mostly just the kitchen and one bath area, but provides a fun juxtaposition to the natural landscape surrounding the home. The home has a modern-cozy feel, and lots of windows and natural light that look out into private woods.
