Chateau La Mer lives up to it's name–it is truly "by the sea," just across from a private section of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Stroll Destin's famous glittering white sands and glide under the clear turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico, only steps away from this spacious, pet-friendly, two-bedroom/two-bath, upstairs condo overlooking the large community lap pool. *Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the pool may be heated seasonally. Come "home" to relax in the tranquil decor of this island-themed oasis with vaulted ceiling and open-concept floor plan.

The fully equipped kitchen features a breakfast bar and new granite counter tops that add additional seating to the dining area. The spacious, comfy living area has a flat screen TV and DVD player, and opens to a furnished balcony where you can enjoy a cool drink and the sea breezes with a beautiful view of the pool. After a long day at the beach, sleep soundly in the master bedroom with king bed, flat screen and new private bath with walk in shower. Tuck the kids into the second bedroom, complete with two Queen beds, built in dresser and another flat screen. The two soothing, neutral bathrooms provide the privacy desired by families, couples or groups. Community laundry facilities are located about 20 feet away, behind the pool and clubhouse, so you can travel home with clean clothes. But we warn you–it's truly hard to leave here!

And don't leave Fido behind! The Chateau La Mer community is perfect for pets. There are large grassy areas and sidewalks for walking beside the breathtakingly beautiful beach. And the amenities don't stop there. In addition to the large pool, this neighborhood offers well-kept tennis courts and grilling area, a rentable clubhouse and more. And there's no through-traffic in this highly desirable community–a feature greatly appreciated by families with kids and/or pets.

Walk to nearby restaurants or pick up local seafood for a relaxing evening at your home-away-from-home. Everything you need is nearby and Destin offers so many different recreational activities, there is something for every member of the family.

From arts and culture to eco-tourism, from fine dining to quick bites, from sports and adventure to shopping and spas; the Destin area has it all. Rent a boat or paddleboard. Play golf or stumble upon a treasure on the beach or at one of the many shopping areas. Go deep-sea fishing or explore the famed, expansive Choctawhatchee Bay in what is known as the "world's luckiest fishing village." Destin-dining is also world-famous among foodies and regular folks alike. You can skydive, sail, cruise, dolphin watch, and explore the many opportunities that await you on the emerald shores of this stretch of the incredibly scenic panhandle of Florida.
