Ideal for a family

Within walking distance : Le Louvre, Les Tuileries, l’Opéra Garnier, La Concorde, la Comédie Française, le Musée d’Orsay, main department stores (Galerie Lafayette, le Printemps) and both very famous restaurants like « Grand Vefour », « Fontaine Gaillon) and to discover.

Closest subway stations : Quatre Septembre, Pyramides, Opéra and also « St-Lazare station » which provide direct access by rail to Versailles. Roissy bus Station which provide direct acess to aéroport Charles de gaulle. Numerous bus line can be found nearly to take you conveniently all over Paris and velib’s spots.

Our flat is located in the center in Paris in a family building that make it very quite and secure. On the third floor with a lift. It’s a charming flat with old beams decorated with a mix of design and antique furnishing.

There are 110 square meters of living space featuring three bedrooms, two confortable bathroom, a large living and a large kitchen (fully equipped including internet connection and ADSL) with a large dinning.

The parents bedroom is welcoming and has its own bathroom (tub, shower and W.C) with soft lighting.

The two other bedrooms are very confortable, with two single beds in each room, large desk and share a bathroom tiled « subway style».

ENTERTAINMENT
We have Cable TV, a DVD, a CD player. We love arts, music, and moovies. We want to share our flat with people who will cherist it as much as we do. We live here with our family during the year and we rent it during vacations. So you will really feel at home and will appreciate to live in the center of Paris
This is non smoking and no pets apartment.

Best Location, Fabulous Flat

Our family of 6 stayed in this flat for 9 nights in July 2011. It was better than we could have hoped. Very spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and in the perfect location for discovering Paris on foot (or by Metro-- 2 stations are within 2 blocks of the flat). The flat sits on a quiet street, but is just a 5 minute walk to Jardin des Tuileries and L'Opera. The owners are lovely, thoughtful and helpful. I highly recommend staying here! It's a GREAT deal!

Familienurlaub 2019 in Paris

Wir haben als Familie mit drei Kindern diese Wohnung für eine Woche Ende Juli/Anfang August 2019 gemietet und waren sehr begeistert. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war schnell und reibungslos in französisch und englisch. Die großzügige, helle Wohnung mit einem Schlafzimmer, zwei Kinderzimmern, zwei Bäder, eine Küche mit Essbereich und Wohnzimmer liegt im 3. Obergeschoss in einem mehrgeschossigen Wohngebäude mit großzügigen Raumhöhen zentral im Herzen von Paris. Der Zugang zum Haus ist zweimal durch Code/Transponder gesichert. Im Treppenhaus befindet sich ein Aufzug für zwei Personen. Die Treppenstufen sind in der Steighöhe sehr angenehm angeordnet. Die Wohnung ist mit einer Sicherheitstür gesichert. Die gutbürgerliche Ausstattung ist in gutem und sauberen Zustand. In der Küche sind die üblichen Küchengeräte (Elektroherd mit Ofen Spülmaschine, Kühlschrank , Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Toaster) vorhanden. Ein Bad ist über die Kinderzimmer erreichbar und mit Dusche und Waschbecken ausgestattet. Das WC ist über den Flur separat. Ein Bad liegt hinter dem Schlafzimmer und verfügt über Waschbecken, Badewanne, Dusche, Waschmaschine und Trockner. Für Gäste steht ein WLAN-Anschluss zur Verfügung. Kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung sind sehr schwierig bis gar nicht vorhanden. Zum Ein- und Ausladen des Gepäcks haben wir die Ladezone vor einem Geschäft genutzt. Wir haben unser Fahrzeug in einem vorab gemietetem Parkhaus am Stadtrand geparkt und sind mit der Metro zurückgefahren. Die Metro-Stationen sind zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft vorhanden. Gerne kann man bis in den späten Abend die Lokalitäten genießen. Die Geräuschkulisse und Musik ist auch bei geschlossen Fenstern wahrnehmbar aber nicht störend laut. Eher der am Morgen einsetzende Verkehr und die momentane Großbaustelle in der Nachbarschaft um die Ecke lassen einen nicht zu lange schlafen. Für uns war das nicht schlimm, da wir die Tage nutzen wollten um Paris mit seinen Sehenswürdigkeiten kennen zu lernen. Das Louvre, Opéra und Galerie Lafayette sind zu Fuß in 12 Minuten erreichbar. Notre-Dame, Moulin Rouge und andere Museen in 30 Minuten. Bis zum Eiffelturm sind es etwa 60 Gehminuten. Die Metro ist relativ günstig. Die Einzelfahrt 1,90€, 10er Karte 14,90€. Das Leben selbst und Genuss sind recht teuer. Fazit: Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder in diese Stadtwohnung nach Paris.

Great Flat in Paris

We had a wonderful stay at this flat in Paris. Location was ideal to all the sights in Paris. The Metro and RER were just blocks away as well. It was well furnished and allowed our family of 5 to relax and have a little of our own space. The check in was without issues and the recommendations provided were very helpful. We look forward to coming back to Paris and will definitely plan to stay in this wonderful property.

This is a great flat, well appointed and perfect for a family of 6. It is in a great area with lots of restaurants and very close to the Louvre. Do note that you are above some restaurants and it can be quite noisy in the middle of the night. But I would stay there again, the owner is very responsive and we really liked the flat

Six friends spent 6 wonderful nights in this apartment located just a few blocks from the Garnier Opera House. There was a metro stop just one block away and we could walk to the Tuileries, Louvre, and the Seine. The owners were communicative and helpful. We can't wait to return. Thank you for renting to us!

The apartment was just as described by the owners -- quiet, comfortable, and spacious. We especially welcomed the well equipped kitchen that let us eat at home a few nights, though of course we enjoyed the local restaurants too (particularly recommend Joseph boulangerie for breakfast needs). No problems at all coordinating with the owner; and a great location to see all the sites of Paris.

Stayed with a total of 4 adults. Plenty of privacy and space. Location was very central and convenient to markets, metros, attractions and restaurants. Great communication with owners and an overall pleasant experience. Only suggestion would be a user guide for renters so they know exactly how to operate appliances, heat, etc. I would recommend to friends and family.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtete, gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Vernieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Fenster sind schalldicht, also kein Problem mit dem Lärm von draußen! Dafür ist man schließlich mitten in Paris! Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Very noisy and overall disappointing

We stayed in this apartment for 8 nights. The location was good but that was where the positives ended. We experienced sleep deprivation in this apartment, like never before. We woke up with headaches because of lack of sleep. The street is a very noisy one, with a brasserie on the corner 2 doors away. There was a lot of 'street noise' - people's voices, nightlife, delivery trucks, building works nearby, and also within the building, throughout the night and into the morning. On top of the noise, the blinds in the main bedroom didn't work properly, so we couldn't shut out the light either. The shutters were broken too. It was actually quite 'hell-ish', as sleep deprivation is torturous. Furthermore, there was no cleanliness, with crumbs on the kitchen bench and a dirty shower amongst other things. We were overall disappointed and puzzled about previous reviews for this same apartment. This was our 6th holiday in Paris and by far the worst place we've stayed in.

Great Paris Rental

Recently we were in the french countryside and decided to look for an apartment in Paris for 3 days (on super short notice), we came across this listing and, after a conversation with the owner, booked it under the assumption that it would be "fine". It turned out to be much more than fine, the location and layout were perfect for our family (2 parents, 3 young kids and a nanny). We enjoyed the neighborhood, walked easily to The Tuilleries, Louvre, Place de Concord, Vendome, Opera, etc. It was a quick walk to multiple Metro Stations which we easily took to the Musee de' Armee' and Jardin de' plants. We even snuck in a great grown up meal at Restaurant Drouant (Michelin one star) just 100 meters from the flat.
