Steps to the River! River Edge Cabin

River Edge log cabin only 10 minutes to the West entrance of Glacier National Park. This beautiful cabin is located on a private ranch just steps to the river bank of the Middle Fork River with river access. Located just a 1 minute drive or 5 minute walk to 4 fishing/swimming accesses. A fisherman's dream vacation spot! You can access the river through the woods and down the trail. Steep decline to be expected.

Enter this beautiful cabin to find all the luxuries of home. Enjoy the living room seating area watching your favorite shows on apple tv, surfing the internet or take in the views through the large picture windows looking out to the great Montana outdoors.
This one level cabin also offers a full size kitchen for all your cooking needs and a cozy dining area seating for 4. There are two private bedrooms down the hall each offering one Queen bed. Down the same hall you will find one shared full size bathroom.

On this working ranch, you will find our loveable friendly dogs and horses. Feel free to spend some time petting our ranch animals, they love the attention. Finish your evenings playing in Montana great outdoors by enjoying some star gazing outside or building a small campfire in the firepit off the main deck. A true Montana log cabin outside Glacier National Park!

Please note: Montana can become very dry and cause us to be in High Fire Danger. Our fire pits are not guaranteed to be available due to these constant changing conditions. Please inquire with us prior to your arrival should you have any questions about our fire pit availability.

Our property sleeps no more than 4 guests max. This property does not allow pets or smoking inside.At time of reservation, we do require reserved guest to sign a rental agreement. Our confirmation email will include the link to the agreement from Glacier View Vacation Rentals. 

2027 Reservations: We will open our calendar to all 2027 reservations starting August 1st, 2026. Please check back with us, to reserve your spot with us.

As advertised. Great for our family of four, including two young girls, to explore West Glacier and Whitefish areas. Very private, nice shaded porch, grill and firepit. Friendly dogs and horses on property. Had everything we needed for a great stay. Would certainly stay again.

We love log cabins and this one was so nice. Stayed for our trip to Glacier NP and enjoyed the ability to cook breakfast and dinner and chill after long days of hiking. Love the horses and the dog greeting you as you come in

The cabin is in a very quiet area, which was what we wanted after hiking in Glacier during the day.
