Great for a week long stay with my extended family

My family stayed here along with my parents and my brother's family (10 people total). Cattle Cottage worked really well for us - the kids had a great time swimming in the pool and playing games, and we were 10-20 minutes driving distance from boat / kayak rental, and less than a mile away from several restaurants that we liked. The hosts really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and respond to the problems that came up. They had practically everything we could have asked for (a pool and hot tub, a well stocked game room, baby gates, crib + extra pack & play, wine fridge, coffee grinder, many towels, numerous board games, a nice gas grill, and many large TVs). There were a couple issues while we were there - the upstairs where the kids slept was very hot (they brought an AC unit, which brought the temperature down to manageable levels), and there were a lot of ants when we first got there (which they promptly sprayed & gave us ant bait to deal with, and were mostly gone a couple days later). Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay again and encourage others to do the same.

We really enjoyed our stay. Property was great and the hosts were very responsive to messages. The game room and and coffee bar were highlights!

Fantastic Weekend!

Our stay was absolutely great! Location was wonderful, as it was steps away from Buckeye Lake. We loved the amenities the house had to offer. The pool, hot tub, and fire pit made for a great backyard that all could enjoy. The Cattle Cottage theme was great. We loved it all! Would definitely recommend.
