Two kitchens, two laundries, 3 living rooms, 5 bathrooms, 7 bedrooms, brand new pool, hot tub, game room with poker table and pool table (separate from both houses so you aren't waking up the group who enjoys sleeping). Dine alfresco on the private Italian style courtyard with covered pergola. Lounge on wood deck around the brand new pool. Seat 15 in the Big house for an 'entertainers fantasy' open living kitchen dining experience. The floor to ceiling soundproof windows in the Big house living/kitchen space will blow you away. These houses were meant to be united and loved by all who visit this unique getaway in the heart of downtown Austin.

Beautiful Home with Plenty of Space

This house is a great option for anyone staying with a large group. The space is very spread out, and the interior is gorgeous. Host was very responsive, and the location is a quick drive anywhere you need to be in Austin. I rented this home for a bachelor party and planned a lot of outdoor activities, but it was a great bonus to have this tremendous home for down time. Everyone agreed that it was an incredible place to stay.

Good space and location - less than optimal amenities - don’t stay if allergic to cats

We had 16 people ages 30+ staying at this property which was plenty big to accommodate 16. The space is great, but a couple items made it less than ideal and we would not choose to stay again. 1. This owner has two what we can only assume are feral cats living at the property that were not disclosed until check in. The cats are not include in the property listing. We had several folks in our group allergic to cats and while it was too cold to use the pool, we could not use the outside patio because of the amount of cat hair in the area. There is also cat hair everywhere in the pool. We would’ve appreciated knowing about this in advance. Had we known there were cats, we would not have stayed at the property given the allergies in the group. They are not declawed and unsure if they are vaccinated. 2. We had plumbing problems for the weekend. The property has two houses - one large house, one small house. The small house for our weekend only had 4 people staying in it. On our last day and night, there was SEVERE plumbing issues where sewage was coming through the bathtub. We turned off toilets for the day and that house became unusable. The sewage remained in the bathtub all night. We contacted the owner who was concerned about the issue. Unfortunately she couldn’t get a plumber there until after our stay and afterwords blamed the backup on us after we had followed all policies. Overall - nice space, but these issues would prevent me from staying again.

What makes this property unique

These 2 unique fantastically comfortable houses are on neighboring lots with a shared gate between the backyards. There a multiple grassy lawns and 3 distinct entertaining spaces. One which features a wooden deck and built-in lounge seating under a canvas pergola, an italian style stone patio that has a large outdoor dining table under a shaded pergola for alfresco dining, and a hot tub situated just outside a oversized 2 car garage/converted game room with tons of natural lighting for playing pool and poker. Both driveways can accommodate lots of parking. The main house has a huge open concept kitchen with a massive table height bar seating 6 and extra large dining table that seats 10-12 is apart of this open concept kitchen space. The smaller house has an open kitchen, dining and living room concept with upscale appliances and plenty of room for multiple cooks.
