About this property
4BR Ski-In/Out Condo Near Explorer Gondola, Sauna & Fireplace – Big Sky, MT
Welcome to 90 Slalom Trail #301 — a serene blend of mountain charm and modern convenience in Big Sky's Beaverhead Community, and your gateway to an unforgettable Montana getaway. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, there's ample space for families and groups, and you're just a short drive from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Please note: there is no elevator in this building.
Ski-In/Ski-Out to the Explorer Gondola This condo sits in ski-in/ski-out proximity to Big Sky Resort's new Explorer Gondola, giving you effortless access to the slopes and base area amenities. For ski-out access, walk to the end of Downhill Dr. and take the "White Wing" run down to the Explorer Lift — or, if you stay high enough, follow the groomed trail through the trees to reach "Swift Current" and "Ramcharger" lifts (starting from the higher end of the Beaverhead homes and cutting across into the trees; this route may be more difficult depending on ability or mobility). Skiing in, make your way toward the Explorer Lift area, get onto "White Wing," and ski back to Downhill Dr.
Mountain Views & Cozy Comfort Admire the surrounding mountains from the comfort of your home away from home. Two living areas — one on each floor — give everyone room to gather together or find a quiet moment. Warm up by the fireplace or unwind in the private sauna after a day outdoors.
Beyond the Slopes Big Sky lives up to its name with year-round activities, from winter sports to summer hiking and fishing. You're also just a 45-minute drive from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park — spend the day exploring geysers, trails, and wildlife, then come back to relax by the fireplace and recount the day's adventures.
Parking One spot in the garage, plus one spot in front of the garage (2 total).
What's Provided Linens and towels (sheets, pillows, blankets, comforters, body towels, hand towels, and washcloths), plus starter supplies: kitchen trash bags, dishwasher pods, dish soap, sponge, paper towels, foil, cling wrap, Ziploc bags, coffee filters, toilet paper, tissues, laundry detergent pod, dryer sheets, cleaning solution, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion.
Check-In & Support Self check-in from 4 p.m., check-out by 10 a.m. (earlier/later by prior arrangement). Please report any known issues within 24 hours of check-in. We're located right in Town Center — stop by or call anytime you need us.
A Note on Comfort This home doesn't have air conditioning, as is typical in Montana — open the windows at night for cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds in the morning to keep your home comfortable all day.

This was the perfect ski in/ski out spot on the mountain. It’s the perfect stay. We had 5 adults and four children, and felt VERY comfortable. We would definitely book this again.

We enjoyed a great stay at Big Sky. The condo is very large with plenty of room for our family. Well furnished, comfy beds and a heated garage for storing ski equipment! Condo was well equipped for cooking in and close enough to the village to walk to dinner. Great ski in, ski out location too. Would definitely stay here again.

This unit was in a great location, spacious, and as pictured in the listing. Suited our mixed group of 8 perfectly. The property management company was also helpful and very responsive. Setup for skis and boot warming racks in the garage were perfect. The only negatives were that the mattresses could use to be replaced, the oven wasn't clean, and the unit could use an outdoor grill. Overall, it was an excellent property and I would recommend to others.
Overall, the unit was fantastic. It was clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable and the unit was well stocked with essentials like TP, towels, cleaning supplies, and kitchen basics. Location is walkable to slopes within 5 minutes and with the right conditions it's possible to ski back, over the driveway and straight to the doorway of the unit. The only thing preventing a 5-star review is the stairs. It's a 3rd floor walk-up with floating stairs, which is fine, except that the bottom section of the stairs is fully exposed to the elements. With snow every night (which is what we hope and plan for!), the stairs became icy and treacherous. The third step in particular is a doozy because it collects ice dripping from the roofline. The building manager needs to do a better job of clearing/de-icing the stairs, or better-yet, enclosing the stairway which would not take much to accomplish.
