We enjoyed our stay. The house was large with plenty of room for our group. It was well appointed and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Location was solid - 5-10 min walk out to ski and then ski in at the end of the day (after a little bit of practice - some instructions would have been nice). Host was very responsive and attentive.
Another amazing stay at Evonne’s wonderful house. This is our 3rd year in a row booking this house and that should tell you all you need to know. Already counting down the days to next year. Thank you Evonne for being a fantastic host and continuing to provide an amazing experience for us when at Big Sky.
We came and stayed for our first ski tripTo Big Sky with our family and friends. The house was perfect for our group of 11. We had comfy beds and a great hot tub to relax in each night after a day of skiing! Would definitely stay here again.
The home was very clean, and is one of the best places we have stayed! The kitchen was extremely well stocked, and the views were nice. The king bedroom downstairs could use a dresser or chest to put your stuff on. As far as the ski in ski out goes, the lift near the house was closed, but we never really figured out where the ski out trail would have been. The lift being closed was really no problem at all because we just walked about 3 minutes to the parking lot and then rode the free shuttle. We would highly recommend this property, even with a bad snow year we had a great time and the snow was good enough for us!
Our second time staying at Evonne’s fantastic property. Everything was perfect and we will be back again next year. Proof that this spot is perfection. Thank you for every thing!
We enjoyed our stay, everything was very nice. Ski-in-ski-out is a little bit of a stretch, but it is close. Would book again, and plan accordingly for a bit of a hike to and from the lifts.
Excellent stay in beautiful, luxurious Montana home
Wonderful, large, comfortable home with lots of amenities. We really enjoyed our stay, the home had everything one could need for a large family gathering, and the proximity to the slopes allowed us to take full advantage of the mountain. The host was excellent and responsive. Would highly recommend and we look forward to coming back.
This house was perfect for our extended family ski vacation - lovely views, comfortable, and well stocked for all our needs to cook and eat in most meals. It took a few days to find the most efficient route to ski back in, but we also found it very convenient to cross the street and parking lot and utilize the shuttle. It was easy for all members of our group to come and go from the slopes as needed throughout the day. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Big Sky.
We have stayed here a couple times and the place is really great. It is clean, well equipped and well serviced. It is relatively easy to ski in/out once you know the way and it's a 10 min walk to the village so the location is idea.. The beds and bathrooms are all nice. There was an issue with the oven working which was an inconvenience for a couple days but the owner was very responsive and had a new appliance installed while we were there. The grill, tv's, fireplace and hot tub work great. Overall it's an excellent place and we will be back.

Awesome Location!
Pictures on website were completely accurate. Loved the "hearty" plates/glasses/flat wear, and ample supply of cooking/cleaning products. Views were spectacular. As mentioned by other reviews, not really a ski out but not a difficult walk. Ample room for 2 families. Would highly recommend. Skiing was amazing both Big Sky and Moonlight Basin

We are thrilled to hear of your wonderful stay at our ski home.
Big Sky has had a historical snowfall year this ski season and hence, it has made ski out a bit of a challenge for some guests (esp children and snowboarders). It has been the most snow we’ve ever seen!
In general, our SKI out is B rated (some flat areas +75 yards) and our SKI in is A rated. It can be a short beautiful walk to the lift as well.
If ski access is a top priority for your group, please check out our other condos in the "Owner's info" section.
We hope you will join us again at one of our ski homes in Big Sky.
Great accommodations for our friend/family ski vacation!
Very nice and spacious! Nice furnishings, well stocked kitchen, and very comfortable beds! Ski out isn't what we had hoped, so we would drive to the parking lot and get on shuttles. Ski in on doable, except took us until the last day to actually find our way back. Would definitely stay again! Had a friendly fox visit us daily on the back deck, patiently sitting and looking on patio doors at us. We enjoyed her visits!
We all loved Big Sky and the skiing. Skiing in was easy, skiing out, not so much.
The coffee maker did not work.
All said, we had a great time and the accommodations worked well for our family.
The property is a true ski in - you have to hike a little to ski out but it’s better than driving or walking to the base. The home is massive and beautiful. Nice big hot tub. There is a separate room for a pull out couch. The oven didn’t work for us 2 nights which was annoying as we ended up wasting some food by the end of the night but the host was quick to get someone out our last night so we could cook then.
Adult ski trip with 7 friends. Very comfortable, good size, large hot tub. Parking for 3 SUV’s. Washer/dryer. Wood burning fireplace. The ski in/ski out is possible, but we only did it one of the four days. It's super simple to drive to the parking lot and hop on the shuttle to the base area. The ski in/ski out takes a little longer. Fantastic stay and we'll be back soon.
Evonne’s house was absolutely fantastic. 10/10 across the board throughout the entire process. The ski in / ski out access is not NEARLY as hard as some other posters have mentioned. Ski right into the house and ski out is a very easy transfer for any decent skiers.
Our group of family and friends had the trip of a lifetime and we will certainly be back! Perfect location, space, amenities, for an all around awesome time.
Amazing house! Equipped with all of our needs. Plenty of wood for the fireplace, hot tub was amazing after skiiing and wonderfully private staring into the snowy woods. Ski in was super easy & fun! Landing you right at the driveway. Walking to the otter lift only took about 10 min, and was also very easy in the conditions we had. Would come stay again in this winter wonderland! We had kiddos so we would drive the kids to the base, then park our car in the driveway and walk to the otter lift. So convenient and such a treat! Lovely home, beautiful mountain, take me back!!
Excellent Property but not exactly ski-in/out for all
The property was very clean and we'll kept and the manager was very responsive. It was not the ski-in/ski-out experience we were expecting though. The location and amount of snow definitely impacts the ability for any beginner or intermediate skiers trying to gain access to any lifts on their skis from this property. Other than my guests needing to walk down the road to ride a shuttle back and forth from the main base, this property was great.
Great location... but challenging ski out for some.
Overall loved the property. Some of the family members had a challenge with the distance to ski out... but I didn't mind the extra walk to warm up before skiing.
As a VRBO owner myself I have learned from our guests. Having enough towels for bathing as well as hot tubbing is a necessity, and of course enough extra TP for the number of guests you are renting to. Throw blankets for guests to use during their stay would be an added nicety.
Great FP and adequate wood .... loved this for comfort and coziness.
We love Big Sky!!!

Absolutely agree with your review! We all look for creature comforts when on vacation. We've added a few alpaca throws to the mix since you've stayed with us. Will make sure cleaning crew has out enough towels and TP for our guests. Will see you back in Big Sky in the near future.
The host was super helpful/responsive and very welcoming. The house is in an amazing location, is super spacious, and came with everything our group of 12 needed! Would 100% stay again!!
This property exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful and our group of 12 was very comfortable. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and relaxing in the large hot tub. The proximity to both Boozman airport and Yellowstone National Park was perfect! We would rent this property again!
Great house, perfect for our family of 5. Very convenient to mountain base. Ski in was great. Ski out would have been great but White Otter lift was not running at end of season. Owner is super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.
This property is very unique with the privacy and secludedness of country living but yet the groomed trail to the lift right out the front door. It has a great view of the Beaver pond from the living room and wonderful views of Lone mountain from the Master suite.
What makes this property unique
You are 2.5 blocks away from the Big Sky Resort base to take advantage of all of its amenities. The house feels extremely secluded due to all the trees from the protected wetlands next door. It also has its own waterfeature as a beaver creek runs right below the house. The view of the beaver pond and calming water noise is what truly makes this house a unique place.
