About this property

5 bedrooms! Beautiful Mountain Retreat

This is a perfect getaway for large families, a work retreat or just getting away from the business of life! Our cabin features 5 bedrooms plus a loft, 4 full bathrooms, large patio with a wood burning fireplace, full kitchen with all cooking amenities and plenty of toys and games for the kids. We have four children between my brother's family and ours and always have additional families up for the weekend. There is plenty of room for everyone, with our favorite times sitting on the patio while the kids explore the great outdoors!

We are tucked away on a cul-de-sac street and back to the mountain preserve. Horseback riding is available within a couple miles from the cabin, as well as, many hiking trails and seven cold water lakes. There is much to do for those that enjoy the outdoors!

Cabin Layout:

*Two Master Bedrooms.
Master Bedroom #1 is upstairs with a Queen Bed, full bath, walk-in closet, additional sitting area that is occupied with a Full Bed. There is a loft with a full size, fold-out Futon directly off the Master Bedroom #1.
Master Bedroom #2 is downstairs with a King Bed and Twin Bed, full bath and walk-in closet.

*Three Guest Bedrooms.
Two guestroom's have full-size beds. Guest bedroom #3 has an elevated (top bunk) and twin bed below. This is a great room for kids, as we designate it as the 'playroom'.

*Kitchen includes; microwave, full oven, refrigerator with ice maker, all cookware, utensils and basic spices.

*Living room includes; Satellite TV and gas fireplace.

There is a fabulous, relaxing oversize front patio with a wood burning fireplace, surround sound and plenty of seating. This is a great setting to relax with a book or happy hour with friends and family before dinner.

~Other amenities include: a dog run, a gas grill, two charcoal grills, custom poker table, pack-n-play, high chair, children's plates, cups, utensils and plenty of games/toys. (corn-hole game is a big hit! It's a bean bag game that entertains all ages)

The outdoor patio is beautiful and was incredibly comfortable for seven adults. Kitchen was well equipped. Indoor living space was equally comfortable and perfect for our weekend!

Beautiful Cabin - Amazing Porch!

This is one, if not the largest rental property in Forest Lakes. It was perfect for our family gathering up North. John communicates promptly and the instruction packet is VERY detailed. Perfect VRBO experience, would highly recommend renting this large cabin.

Love this location

This was our third stay at this house! We had 4-generations ranging in age from 2 to 79. Love this house, plenty of room for everyone. The deck with the fireplace is amazing. The kids loved making smores each evening. We took a short drive to the lake one day. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in backyard. A great time was had by all.

Excellent property in an excellent community

Our third summer staying at this property. Great for large families. The weather in June was excellent and allowed us to eat dinners on their beautiful large front porch. Zero complaints highly recommend. Close to good fishing at Willow Springs and Woods Canyon Lakes. We also enjoyed Horseback Riding at nearby stables.

Forest Lakes Mountain Stay

This property provided a very easy place to relax and enjoy time in the mountains with family members for a long weekend. Two large living room areas, one inside and one outside, provided great areas for socializing. We would definitely stay here again.

We, my family of four and my brothers’ family of four, bought this as a second home to get away from the Phoenix heat. The cabin was originally three bedroom and we recently completed a remodel, adding two additional bedrooms and extending the front patio. We take great pride in our cabin and have created many lasting memories with family and friends. It is a great place to connect and enjoy the beautiful weather on the Mogollon Rim.

We hope you enjoy your time in Forest Lakes as much as we do!

This is a perfect getaway from the Phoenix heat. We live in Phoenix and the cabin is 2 hours door to door.
