This was our first visit to Hocking Hills and we couldn't have picked a better rental. The location was perfect and within 10 minutes of several trails. It was impeccably clean on arrival. We loved using the hot tub at night and relaxing under the stars. 10/10 recommend!

Great homebase for our treks to the state park. The kitchen supplied everything we needed. Very clean and the hot tub was a lovely bonus after walking the trails.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Great location, nice setting tucked back on the property. Our small dogs enjoyed exploring the yard. We noticed a mildew/smoke smell as we stepped inside. Opening a couple windows and turning on an air purifier helped some. Bathrooms continued to smell of mildew. Otherwise a great stay. Just as pictured in the listing and was clean. Had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck.

Anniversary weekend getaway

Very clean and not too far from the caves and trail but far enough from the crowds. There is another rental diagonally on the same plot but the homes are set up to maintain privacy- especially on the back decks with the hot tub.

Enjoyable Getaway in a Quaint Hideout

My wife and I were thoroughly impressed by this listing. For a small trip, it provided more than what we expected. A clean stay, enjoyable ammenities, good communication from the host, a location close to hiking, and a quiet location, were just some of the reasons this booking made for an excellent vacation stay. I liked the two ensuite bedrooms. It was awesome scanning to log in. Great manuals and instructions. And posted instructions on a bulletin board. Lots of dishes cookware spices coffee and filters. Hottub worked great. Enjoyed. wingback chairs and footstools in living room. Also liked individual ac in all rooms and easy to control with one remote. They had lots of brochures on things to do. The place allows pets. Cat hair behind sofa. Filth behind sofa. Only superficially cleaned....if you mived sofa and cushions. Floor made socks dirty. And bathrooms were clean but smelled... so take high end air cleaner or lysol. Overall we enjoyed. Would stay again.
