Beautiful property, plenty of space. The pictures don't quite do it justice. Only complaint is that the private beach access is overgrown.

Unresponsive host - unkempt property (and VRBO was no help)
Half the kitchen was broken, host was non-responsive, and VRBO’s customer service is (horribly) run by first gen AI.(It sucked that the kitchen was so broken because it was well-stocked with silverware, dishes, pots and pans, and gadgets.)On the first day we promptly alerted the host to the issues. His response, one day later, was that he’d get everything taken care of.Despite repeated follow-up we did not hear from the host again until the last day of our trip. We had also reached out to VRBO customer service, which is a bot that sends emails in the middle of the night stating, “We see your issue has been resolved.” Our issue was not, in fact, resolved. We never heard from the host again after he blamed his hired help for the issues and told us, “due to the dishwasher not working, you can leave the dishes in the sink and the cleaning crew will take care of them.” Uh, thanks?Beyond the broken kitchen, the path to the beach is not maintained. If you have kids, note that the beach is across a 55-MPH road from the rental home.Side note: if you do take your chances with this rental, I suggest bringing water shoes. The beach is gorgeous, as is the water, but it’s rocky. My family has been doing this trip for 20 yrs and we’ve always had good luck with the houses we’ve rented (and the hosts we’ve rented from). This is the first poor rental experience we’ve had and was it a doozy!May the force be with you if you take your chances on this rental property (& with VRBO).
