Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis in the woods. This newly-renovated studio in-law suite has a private entrance in a cozy NW Asheville home (owners live upstairs). It's on a forested gravel road and opens to a half-acre fully fenced yard with lovely forest views - the perfect spot for dogs to explore or to sip morning coffee. There is a stream crossing and small waterfall a short walk (0.25 mile) down the gravel road. It has a peaceful off-the-beaten path atmosphere, but is only a short ~15 minute drive to downtown Asheville. Minimum stay of 7 days.
The unit is especially dog-friendly with the large fenced yard, but no cats please. Washer/dryer are in the main part of the house, outside the unit, but guests can use them if the owner is home and/or notified in advance. Storage space is limited.
While this unit is fully private, it is not sound-proof, and you will likely hear sounds from the owners walking around upstairs. Because we are located in the woods, we do occasionally get insects and spiders inside despite our best efforts to keep the place sealed off!
