Spacious and comfortable cabin hidden in the woods. Lots of privacy; you can barely see the adjacent cabins. There is no actual view of the water from the property, but it's just a walk away. Fresh sheets and comfortable mattresses. Kitchen stocked with enough cookware to make meals. Host was very communicative throughout process. A couple negatives: (1) Lighting in the kitchen area might be dimmer than some might prefer. (2) If you or your guests are averse to climbing stairs, this may not be the property for you.

Great place to stay at the lake! This was our first time staying in Indian Point and so glad we chose the Waterside Cottage. Plenty of room, super cute and very accommodating host!

Great family vacation!

We stayed here for a family vacation. Best of both worlds, close to everything you want to do but quiet location. So quiet that we even had deer wander up and enjoyed watching them out the window. The place was clean, comfortable and as described. It was a perfect fit for our family vacation.

Perfect fit for family of 5 to have all the accommodations of home away from home. Very pleased with the property and the surrounding area. Very nice community and overall great experience. Great value and a place we will consider again in the future!

Very quiet

Really enjoyed the proximity to Silver Dollar City. The location was very very quiet and on a dead end Rd. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room. Would stay here again.

Great cabin

Great cabin. Lots of space. Enjoyed the foosball and fireplace. Super close to Silver Dollar City. Needs a new mattress in the Master bedroom.

Christmas in Branson

We always enjoy time spent with family in Branson. This trip was no different. The cabin was great. Despite some challenges with the heat due to extreme temperature, Bryan went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We look forward to return trips.

Lake Trip w/Adult kids

We arrived around midnight, the property was well lite and the keys were easy to attain. The home was clean and well appointed. The home was only 4 minutes away from the marina where we rented a boat. Actually we spent very little time in the house. But we did wish we could have. Each room had its own TV. We would book this home again.

Thoughts on our waterside cabin

Upon driving into the driveway we noticed the only access was to climb stairs. This was a problem due to having an elderly person who had a lot of trouble climbing stairs. The cars were also parked on an incline. As we entered the cabin was very clean but also very small inside. The kitchen was really a one person kitchen and they had a dining table, fuseball machine, sectional and a chair all in a very small area. Way too much for such a small place. The bedrooms were great. The AC system was exceptional. The back of the house was a disappointment as well. It had a very small patio and again everything was on an incline. There was no place to play. This cabin is more suited for 40 to 60 year olds. We had a 5 yr old and was no where for us to play with her.

Wow, jiust wow

3 things set my expectations of a VRBO, 1) is it clean, 2) do they have coffee filters, 3) is it a bad checkout process. 1) it was extremely clean, we couldn't clean it that well ourselves, our house is terribly dirty compared to this place, and we are clean freaks. 2) they had coffee filters, this is possibly the first place I was able to wake up knowing I didn't have to get coffee filters in town before I made coffee, you would get 4 of 5 stars for this even if the place otherwise was terrible. That this happened in Branson is amazing! I have stayed in no less than 20 VRBO places in Branson in the last three years, none had filters. I don't expect coffee, but you must have filters! 3) Extremely easy on checkout, why we never get that message before we are there, I don't know, but the instructions were "start the dishwasher and lock the door", super easy. In November we stayed in a place where it was like solving the riddle of the sphinx trying to solve all the basic check out asks. This was easy, and appreciated. So, having stayed in VRBO places for almost as long as VRBO has been around, this place is highly rated by me. I've saved this location, and hope I find it again. This stands out as a great VRBO location. (I have stayed in many places in Branson, and this is probably the best VRBO property yet).

Never again

You have to drive through a horrible neighborhood to get to the cabin. The kitchen is so tiny only one person can use it. The bathtubs don’t drain well. But the worst was the cleanliness. The windows were filthy, you could see the dust on the fan blades, cobwebs on lights and inside cabinets! The pictures online look much better than unit! For what we paid, I expected much better.

Beautiful Cabin

We loved our stay here. Branson West made everything so accessible and the quiet environment was nice. The wildlife (deer and coyotes) was interesting to see. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils.

Nice and clean

It is a beautiful home, close by SDC and lakes. I loved the open space because it was easy to engage everyone of all ages at the same time. The sectional was in front of the fireplace, and behind the sectional was foosball then to the left was the dining room table. Those who wanted to play games was still in the same room with those who just wanted to visit. The beds were comfortable too, which is a must have for me.

Cozy cabin

The cabin was cute, plenty of room for the family. The kitchen was tight and needed more supplies such as measuring cups and tongs, especially for the grill. Thankfully we brought some. We also had to keep all food in totes due to little critters in the cabin. Was told we would get a small refund but never did. The neighborhood you drive through to get to the cabin was a little sketchy and run down but once you get to the property you can’t see it.

Excellent cabin for reunion

We enjoyed the cabin. It was very clean . Full kitchen, well stocked allowed for easy meal prep. Beds were very comfortable. We had lots of time to catch up. Host was very helpful!

Not what we were hoping for!

We were contacted before arriving that our rental was ready to go. Upon arrival the cabin had a musty smell. As we walked around we noticed numerous issues. We did contact the property manager during our stay and did not receive a response….still waiting. 1. The dishwasher was full of dishes which were wet, but as we unloaded them they were dirty. We were going to rewash them but there was no dishwashing soap. We also noticed that most of the plates we pulled out of the cabinets were not clean. 2. The ice maker in the refrigerator did not work. 3. There was no hand soap in the upstairs bathroom and in the downstairs bathroom it was watered down. 4. The hot water knob in the upstairs bathroom was broken. It just would spin making this shower unusable. 5. The king mattress in the downstairs bedroom needs to be replaced. 6. The overall cleanliness of the cabin needs to be improved. We had to wipe down the inside of the back door because there was a brown substance on it. There was dirt on the rug in the living room. We also wiped down the kitchen cabinets. The glass of the window were dirty and the sills were dirty. The grate in the downstairs bathroom and the wall next to the toilet were very dirty. If you are going to charge a cleaning fee and expect your renters to tidy up (run the dishwasher) then it should be clean when you arrive and supply the necessary cleaning supplies needed. This was our first family vacation in 4 years mostly due to COVID. Walking into a cabin that wasn’t clean or in complete functioning order was not what we were expecting. We would not rent from this management again.
