Looking for some executive style

Modern, vibrant and clean unit. Everything you need in a room while you're traveling, you have it: coffee press, fridge, stove, toaster, washer and dryer. Located Downtown close to restaurants, shopping, cycle and walking paths.

We are a self-checkin establishment. 24 hours prior to your arrival you will be sent instruction for the door and wifi codes. Once you arrive you can immediately go to your suite. Checking out is as simple as leaving the checked out sign on the door when you leave

This is a second floor suite. Please note that you need to climb one flight of stairs to access it.

Morel Executive Suites offers you maximum convenience at competitive rates, while being in the heart of downtown Edmundston.THE STORY OF THE MOREL EXECUTIVE SUITESmore than a short term rentalMorel Executive Suites opened its doors in December 2017. My wife and I had decided to tear down the 100-year-old building. Since I couldn’t bring myself to renovate, so we decided to draw up a business plan and look for alternatives. Short terms rentals seemed to fit ours needs, so we started with one suite (#4) to give us an idea as to the viability of the project. After a few months and lots of positive feedback from our guests, we decided to transform the whole building. We opened the other 4 suites in July 2018 and 2 more in the building next door (55 Emmerson) in May 2019. Morel Executive Suites now boast 7 of the best-rated suites in the area. Although, the remodel took longer and cost more than planned, we are still proud to have saved the 100-year-old building.​The name Morel comes from the family who built the house in 1918. My father had bought the house in the 1980’s from one of the Morel sisters who had been born and raised at 51 Emmerson St. We have referred to it as "The Morel Building" ever since.

Why they chose this property

Being in the heart of a small town has its perks. We have a very good variety of eating and drinking options all within a 5 minutes walk. There is a cinema and even an 80's style arcade nearby. Our nearest neighbour, in the same building, is a local coffee roaster, La Brulerie du Vieux Poste. We have their coffee in the rooms with a french press, but nothing beats à Eric's fabulous latté in the morning.

What makes this property unique

This is the only independent hotel right in the heart of Edmundston, N.B. All our suites are actually small apartments. They all come furnished with a complete kitchen that has a full sized refrigerator as well as a washer and dryer. Because of this, our suites are perfect for longer term stays. Since you can cook your own meals, it is also perfect for people with strict dietary restrictions.
