The place is good for couples, small families, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Fenced in backyard, covered patio and plenty of street parking.
One block from Sloan’s Lake and a 10 minute drive or 20 minute bike ride to Downtown Denver. Lake, parks, bars and restaurants are just blocks away! It's a 2.6 mile paved loop from our place around the Sloan’s Lake and back. Interesting history available on the boards as you walk. For lake information check out Denver Parks and Recreation/Sloan’s Lake. The light rail which is about 1 mile to the Sheridan Station/West Line. There are RTD Bus routes accessible from the house as well as Uber or Lyft to get most places. Check out the RTD site for costs and schedules. To go hiking or west to the mountains. Highway 6 and head west for 20 - ? minutes depending on where you are headed. Very easy to get downtown or west toward the mountains. Close to Target, Coffee Shops, Restaurants, Groceries, Breweries and Pubs, Sloan’s Lake Park, Highlands, Tennyson Street and Downtown Denver, Grocery Stores, Post Office, Deli Italia, GB’s Fish Chips, Joyride Brewing, Lakeview Lounge, Rupert’s, West 29th Street, Edgewater Inn Pizza, US Thai, Edgewater Public Market and much more.

Guest Access… Entire upstairs/main level with private entrance. Use the stairs up to the main entrance. There is a shared entrance on the side that goes to the backyard. The top unit locks off, at the kitchen. Key pad or lock box entry.

Bose Speakers for TV and a cable for your phone or laptop to play music Alexa with Amazon Music - just ask it what you want to play Outdoor Space: Grill, Fire Pit and Covered Patio Utility Room: Washer/Dryer, portable heater and work station. Pet’s: Not Suitable

Living Area… Fully furnished kitchen with cast iron cookware, refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. There are extra blankets in the cedar chest/coffee table Mini-Split units available for comfort. Please turn off when you leave. Remotes for mini-splits, TV and Bose system YouTube TV is loaded Extra towels under bathroom sink, for cleaning and floor use Please vent bathroom when showering Hangers available in each closet Front outside light is to the left of the front door
Hall Closet… Towels, Hair Dryer, Steamer, Iron and Ironing Board Extra towels Blankets and Pillow
Utility/Weight Room… This is a common area which is shared with the lower unit. Lock off your unit at the kitchen Feel free to use the laundry, work station, or weights. (use at your own risk)
Outside/Common Area… You can use the yard, patio, fire pit, grill and furniture. Just replace covers when finished. Night lights are available by switch or you can plug in the bulbs. Power is available and you can pick up WiFi, if you choose to work Grill by side door is free to use. Please make sure the gas is turned off, when finished. Use lighter to light, as ignitor is broken. Lights for outside are at the top of the stairs.
House Information… Quiet hours after 10PM on weekdays No cigarette smoking inside. Regarding Marijuana, it would be great if you could use patio or utility room. This way we do not have to worry about damage to rugs or furniture. Just vent with the windows. On patio is cool. Portable heater and fans are in the utility room for use, along with a washer and a dryer and work station. Mini-Splits are available for your comfort. Please set the main central heater back to the controls it is on. Set up, to adjust throughout the day and night. Shoes that are muddy or wet can be placed on shoe tray. Broom, Hand Broom, Dust Pan are available, by kitchen door. Snow Shovel in the lower unit foyer. Older towels under the sink in bathroom, for cleaning needs

TIP…open window's at night and let in cool air. During the day shut windows and close the blinds. This should help keep things cooler, in the summer. During the winter, let the sunshine in! Mini-Split Heaters and AC units are available for more comfort control.
Upon Departure… Check Out: 11AM Strip the bed and place sheets, pillow cases and used towels in bathroom, on the floor. Leave the kitchen door unlocked. Take trash out to alley, through the back gate, when leaving or full. Red is recycle and Blue top is trash. Turn off lights and shut all windows. Turn off all mini-split units and set the heater back to where you found it. Please lock the unit with the keypad or lockbox key.

This apt is great and great location.. Kevin was very accommodating and great to work with,very responsive . The pictures are accurate ..Well stocked with extra towels .
Great place to stay! Food and grocery options within walking distance, the view of the lake is amazing! The house is very clean and cozy, everything like towels, dishes, ect were available and ready, kevin is awesome and around if you need anything at all. 10/10 would stay again.
Lovely place, so much within walking distance but also a very close drive to almost anywhere. We loved our stay! Our one concern was the floors being very creaky. We had flight delays and didn’t get in until quite late our first night. Even though we tried to keep our steps light, it didn’t change the creaking and clearly woke up whoever was staying in the downstairs unit because we got the old broomstick knocking on the floor.

Kevin Robke founded DoubleUps for Beds in 2002 to solve the issues surrounding “competition for the covers” in a shared bed. Kevin, a graduate of Kansas State University (BS, in Milling Science and Management), spent his formative years in business building sales and management for agricultural processing and distribution corporations before his entrepreneurial, adventurous side took over. In the early 1990’s Kevin and a friend formed Terra Systems, a natural organic turf and shrub care company, and developed exclusive natural organic fertilization products and programs. The company was sold in 2002, and Kevin embarked on a three-year world tour, traveling to regions far and near to gain perspective on both his life and the world around him.
In his travels (57 Countries along with all the USA), Kevin lived like the locals and developed relationships with those from all walks of life. A Hall of Fame rugby player, his athleticism and team spirit provided him with an insider’s look into worlds most can only dream of. Upon his return to the States, Kevin embarked on his newest endeavor: finding a solution to getting a good night’s sleep in a shared bed. Patents were approved in 2003, business operations settled in 2006, and today, DoubleUps for Beds is helping customers around the world get a good night’s sleep.
