This modern 2-bedroom plus loft condo is perfect for a larger group or two families. Located on the top floor of Balsam Lodge in the Timberline Lodges complex, this condo has stunning mountain views of Fernie Alpine Resort. The condo boasts a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops perfect for saving money on eating out during your vacation. The kitchen opens up on to the living area with a private balcony, dining area, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, and high ceilings. There is a Queen bed in the master bedroom, 2 x Bunk beds in the second bedroom, a Queen bed in the loft bedroom, and a sofa pull-out in the living room – sleeping up to 10 guests. There are baseboard heaters, a gas fireplace, and in-floor heat in the bathrooms to keep you cozy in the winter, and an air-conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms which can cool the whole condo in the summer months.

The condo contains 2 full bathrooms and a half bathroom in the loft, as well as a washer/dryer. Guests will have access to all of the amenities at Timberline
Lodges including an outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, fitness room, and BBQs, making for a stress free holiday surrounded by the mountains.

Beautiful Fernie

Great place to stay, loved that it has a loft so effectively 3 bedrooms and it was only a short walk to the ski resort.

Nice place

It is a decent location in Fernie, abit of a walk up and no real ski in path that I could find (there was one years ago - doesn't seem to be there anymore). It was clean, but our fireplace switch didn't work. Maintenance was quick to help us get it setup but required a bit more effort. Also the hot tub and the pool were closed first few days - I believe it was because of the cold but not too sure. Either way I'd stay there again.

Two Family Ski Vacation

The condo was the perfect size for two families of four. The teenagers had the four bunk bed room with their own washroom, on adult couple the loft with their own half bath, and the other adult couple had the master bedroom with two food ensuite. The kitchen was well stocked for meal prep and the living room and dining an area was sufficient size for visiting, playing games, and watching the tv. It’s a ten minute walk to the hill, so we chose to drive up each day and park by the tv parking to ski in and out to grab our lunch bag. You can ski down to the condo unit, but the walk up is easy, just 10 min in ski boots. The shared hot tub was easy to access and use. We would stay here again.

We stayed end of July. When we arrived it was a hot day and all blinds were open and the 1 room ac wasn’t even running. They advertised that it was an ac that could cool down the whole place. Definitely not the case. It wouldn’t even cool 1 room. 80 degrees in the place. Only time it cooled was middle of the night when windows were open. Fridge was leaking. As did the dishwasher. When we talked to the host the first night they said someone would reach out in the morning about the leaking appliances. They did swap out the fridge and compensate 1 night which was appreciated. I told them they can’t advertise it as ac for the whole place as it was false. Place needs some TLC and updates fridge and dishwasher. Also it is not an air conditioned place.
