Loved our condo!

We have stayed in these condos and always love the location and this was no exception! Lots of room, hot tub was well maintained and the space was clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Property had everything we needed and enough space for two families with babies. The proximity to the ski resort was convenient, a small walk but very manageable. Thanks for the nice stay.

Fernie Condo

Our accommodation was great. Perfect spot to access all the nearby activities. Condo was clean and very comfortable for our family getaway. Private hot tub facing the forested area was excellent to wind down after exploring the area.

Needs some improvement

The property is as described and in a very great location. Not really a easy ski out( hike) but its a very short drive to the parking in the village. The property does show some wear and the dishwasher is not great so upon arrival some glasses required rewashing. Also, the upstairs bedroom gets very hot as the furnace only has a main temp control on the main level. The listing is incorrect as it lists a secured locked area for your sports equipment but there was no key provided and when the rental management company was contacted the reply from the owner was" the key keeps getting misplaced so it is no longer provided" So, we had to keep all our skiis and snowboard in our vehicle to keep secure. Not acceptable!! Also on the first day we had a broken coffee maker and it look three days to get replacement. (Of course this is on the rental management company not the owner.)

In general the stay at this property was 'good'. My rating is 2.8/5 stars overall, which is based on value, location, cleanliness, upkeep/condition & comfort. I have spent the past 8 years working/travelling away from home, so this review comes from a seasoned traveler that has stayed in various locations/properties over the recent years.Relatively over priced for what it is - mainly due to location/demand/able to sleep 6. Although this condo 'sleeps 6' (3 bedrooms) - i would not recommend having more than 4 guests total - the condo is tight/small, with limited space. Pros:- Close proximity to Fernie Alpine Resort/town- Parking (1 stall) directly in front of condo- Quick responses from owner- Easy checkin/out/thorough instructions- Quiet location- Nice viewsCons:- Parking front entry way/stairs up to condo are VERY tight - Ski out is approx. 10 minute walk, more convenient to drive- Property was 'cleaned' prior to arrival, but not well. Evidence of high use, quick 'clean' between bookings and limited maintenance/upkeep. For example: - showers/sinks are water stained/soap scum/pink mold around drains - snow/ice on walkway/parking stalls is not maintained - bathroom vent/fan cover plugged with black grime/dust- top floor bedroom/bathroom, kitchen and deck are very small/tight- limited storage within condo (majority of closets and cabinets are locked/labelled 'owners property')- beds are VERY uncomfortable (springs/hard)Thanks
