Quiet Surf Townhomes II #3 Professionally Managed by Newman-Dailey The simple beach life is a coveted one and Quiet Surf vacation townhome three has everything you need to make all other beach vacations jealous! The serene beach-themed interior echoes the stunning natural beauty only a few yards from the back patio. The soothing sound of waves lapping the shore can be heard from each of the well put-together, sun and sand inspired bedrooms and spacious living and dining room. New memories are waiting to be made and cherished and there is so much potential here. Imagine watching the kids learn to boogie board with one of the toys from the beach toy closet while Dad grills on the beachside barbecue and Mom reads a book from the owner’s stash. Whether you are relaxing at your vacation home, or just minutes away at a movie, restaurant or goofy-golf course, happy times will float in on the sea air.We require a minimum length of stay during the summer and over holidays.

We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students. We require 1 parent for every 2 people under 25.

Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays. In addition to our welcome kit, we also supply basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and oil.

Property rules state: no RV's or trailers of any kind are allowed to be parked in the community parking area. Please call us to arrange off site parking if you are bringing a trailer or RV.

Great location!

The property was as advertised. Beautiful! Walk down the patio steps and your toes are in the sand! Loved the big patio/balcony! The beds were comfy. We couldn't hear any neighbors and the private beach was really nice, as the beach on either side of this property was really crowded. My husband likes to cook so we ate most of our meals in. The only suggestion i would have is to have a non stick skillet. We bought one at Publix.

Great property just steps away from the beach!

Great townhouse right by the the beach. Huge master bedroom. Plenty of closet space. Only complaints are that the sand dune blocks the view from the back porch, and the sofa is really uncomfortable. Neither would have been a problem except that the weather was unseasonably cold so we had to spent a lot of time indoors. Will definitely book here again. Hopefully it'll be warmer!

It was Great!

The House was very good for the price. The Interior was clean and nice. The short distance from the deck to the beach made it very convienient to to take out chairs, beach toys etc to the water or go back for snacks or drinks! The complimentary Unbrella & 2 chairs was wonderful as we had a 1 year old that needed shade for naps! In the future the wood on the lower deck and small covered porch should be refinished or replaced but were still useable for our trip!

Great view, can't beat walking out the back door onto the sand.

We loved being able to sit on the porch and listen to the waves. It was nice that there is a sun porch and a shaded porch since we had a young baby with us. The view was amazing! Only complaint is that the condo wasn't throughly cleaned before we arrived. It looked like there was pet hair on the sofa and coffee grounds still in the coffee maker (who knows how long it was there).

Exterior of unit is poor.

We are not giving this unit a higher score because of the dismal exterior. You will notice there is not a picture of the outside of the unit, and the reason is that it is not in good repair. There is mold on the exterior siding and doors. The railing on the upstairs balcony is literally falling apart and paint is chipping away. It was difficult to enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean that was only 50 yards away (big Yeah!) while having a rotting, disintegrating, chipped railing 3 feet in front of our face (big UGH). The parking area in front of the unit is not paved and covered in gravel. Exterior light fixtures were non-existent and the patio furniture was either broken and unsafe to sit in (upper deck). Lower deck was in good repair. The interior is in good shape except for the " shag " carpeting. It is clean and all the TVs and appliances are in good working order. The view of the ocean is spectacular.

We appreciate you taking time to leave your comments about your stay at Quiet Surf. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the spectacular ocean views from this beach front unit. Unfortunately those views come with a price. It is a constant battle with the elements, especially the corrosive salt air in particular. Owners at Quiet Surf routinely have railings serviced and painted but it only looks “fresh” for a short period of time. The parking lot must be gravel in order to allow proper water run-off. The lights are on a dimmer in compliance with local ordinances. There are no porch lights because Quiet Surf is turtle friendly and lighting near the beach is restricted to allow baby sea turtles to make their way to the water and not the road after hatching. We hope you will visit us again soon.

Destin Vacation

My family and I come to Destin every year and this rental out did the ones we have visited. Plenty of room for the whole family. The pictures are exactly what you get. It was a beautiful rental and the 3rd bedroom was a PLUS. The only thing that I would recommend patio furniture for the ground level patio. Walk out onto the beach was the best part of it all.

Great Location. Would stay again.Some confusion about the parking was told we could park 3 cars but while going to beach was told no only 2 cars HMO rules changed So located place to park 3rd car. Owner of one of the townhouses told us there was no such HMO rule. No one would have towed our car. Nice place

Spectacular family vacation!

Location location location! Having chairs set up every day at the beach huge perk! Restaurants directly across the street. if you’re traveling with teenagers who might wanna go off on their own there are reasonably priced shops within walking distance. The condo itself was nicely decorated plenty of towels and linens. The kitchen was fabulous and well-stocked to make any meal. Property managers were super responsive to any opportunities or issues that may arise . Highly recommend this location!

Overall perfect location in terms of beach, restaurants and stores. We do faced few small issues though: - Had to call 2 out of 3 days for beach chairs - Randomly on our second day of stay the door was painted without notifying us which resulted in paint ending up on our clothes and skin - There were only two trash bags provided for the property which is minimum 4 night stay

My wife 2 kids (13) ,(10) and I had a wonderful time. The location was amazing. A few steps to the sand and water. There was also a restaurant next door and across the street that we walked to! We will book it again.

Our needed break from life

We loved our stay. The location to restaurants and grabbing a snow cone was great. Lots of places to walk, beach and neighborhoods. The townhouse was very clean. It is an older home but kept up very well. The very best thing is walking off your deck onto your private path to the beach. Also the beach service was excellent! When it got too hot, we could perch ourselves on the covered deck and still be part of the beach. I will never stay in a condo/high rise again. Another awesome point, we have stayed in numerous condos, cabins and town homes and this kitchen was the most stocked ever. Had more items than most all we've ever stayed in. If I had any negative, a bigger fridge would have suited us. :-) One bonus and heartfelt positive...the management company left my daughter a graduation gift to acknowledge her achievements since she didn't get to have her high school graduation. It was a very nice surprise.

Nice rental

This was a really nice rental. Great view, kitchen was stocked well, plenty of room for a family of 5. Other pro’s- it had a good supply of sand toys. The kitchen has a good amount of dishes, pots, pans and utensils. Lots of books for adults and maybe teens (I saw a John Grisham but didn’t pay much else attention. Con’s- it’s super crowded. Really crowded. Everyone was very nice but if you are looking for a quiet getaway this is not it. Kids were yelling and playing outside until 1-2 am every night. Other items- the dryer needs work. It took about 1 1/2 hrs to dry a load. No salt and pepper- I felt like something this expensive should have had some basics like that. My husband and I thought the beds very poor. The pullout in the master was so bad my 2 year old refused to sleep on it because the coils were painful. She was much happier on a pallet on the floor. There were no toys/games for children other than sand toys. Again, I felt like something this expensive should have had a checkers game or just some blocks or something for kids. There was an apples to apples game but it’s for older kids. Overall nice place. When the water was calm is was pretty clear. We came from Texas but I don’t think Destin was worth the extra 2 hrs. Next time we’ll probably stop in Gulf Shores.

We were sorry to see that your vacation experience was impacted by other visitors. We always urge our guests to call the local sheriff’s department to report any unruly behavior. The accepted “quiet hours” in our area is from 10pm until 8am. They will assist in enforcing these hours. Beds are difficult because some guests prefer a firm mattress while others prefer soft. We encourage guests to let us know so we can provide mattress toppers to help bring beds to your desired level of comfort. Unfortunately due to health concerns, we are unable to provide any consumable items such as salt and pepper, cooking oil, condiments or ice per Florida Health Laws. While this may seem like an inconvenience, it is actually for our guests’ protection. Most rentals do not include games, books or toys of any kind, however, the homeowner thought it would be nice to provide beach toys for kids and some board games. We are sorry to read that your vacation did not meet your expectations. We hope you will call and speak to one of our friendly vacation specialists to help find the perfect vacation rental for your family should you decide to return to Destin.
