Beautiful home and property but not so functional for 5 people

Beautiful home and property. 5 of us stayed for the night for the MS150 weekend. The home really isn’t as functional as it is nice. I think it could benefit from the owners staying a night or two to improve the stay. -very loud creaking from many interior doors, will wake everyone up in the middle of the night. Bathroom door rubs so bad, it wouldn't close. Stairs in bedroom are dangerous for someone to walk into and slice their head open. Home struggled to cool well in larger bedroom due to the loft. Washer machine not working. Zero water pressure at 5:30am until after 6am which we later learned was the irrigation system running its cycle; we ran late that morning because of it. Toiletries like hand soap in baths not included. And the oddest thing, it's marketed as a home on 10 acres with serene privacy but there is a small cottage within a 100' feet or so that they also rent out which was unexpected. No one expected another family to be staying on property as well. Just very odd...

A Sanctuary of Stories

We loved the house but were surprised when other visitors drove in to stay at guest house. We didn’t see anything about the guest house on the property when we booked. Just would have liked to know that there was another party staying there.
