5 Bedroom Cabin in Gatlinburg with Home Theater close to Rocky Top Sports comple

This is a 3600 square foot log cabin located in the Golf Creek area of Cobbly Nob in Gatlinburg,Tn. We have a fantastic view of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There is a creek at the edge of the property running through the golf course, providing a very relaxing sound. There are 3 decks for enjoying the views.

The top floor contains the kitchen, open living area, and two bedrooms (king and queen beds). All the bedrooms are separated for privacy and each has its own private bathroom. There is a 42' flat screen TV with HD and an electric fireplace in the living area. The are two dining tables, enough to seat 10-12 easily. The master bedroom has a huge walk-in closet and huge bathroom with jetted tub and shower. There is a flat screen 32' HD tv in master bedroom. The utility room contains a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. The hot tub is on the front deck on this level.


The second floor is the deluxe game room containing a full size pool table, foosball, and ping pong (table tennis). There is an electric fireplace in the game room. There are two separated bedrooms, each with private baths. The king bedroom has an adjoining small bedroom with a full size bunk bed (full /full). This is great for families with children. New 32' flat screen tv in king bedroom. There is a balcony off the game room for your viewing pleasure.

The lower level is the theater. This 10' x 40' room has an 80' smart tv and DVD player. We have provided recliners for your viewing comfort. There is also a wet bar with microwave and full bathroom on this floor. A single log bed that sleeps 1 is on this level. There are two exit doors from the theater to the balcony.

The place was big enough. Had to fight off ladybugs. They were all over the cabin. The cabin wasn’t that clean. There was nothing to have to start up with. The hot tub water smelled Mold.

This cabin was amazing. We loved every minute of it. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer. The entire cabin is so cozy and inviting. The hot tub was perfection. The only issue we had was that the bed in the master bedroom was super squeaky and every movement at night woke me up bc it was very noisy

LARGE ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE

We stayed at Something Special last week. There were 4 adults and 6 kids, 16 to 2. The home was large enough for everyone and there was plenty for everyone to do. There is a 'friendly' neighborhood bear who likes pop tarts...Just make sure you lock your car door ALWAYS as he comes back nightly to check on them! It's an easy drive into Gatlinburg and has a pizza place, BBQ joint and cafe 5 minutes away.

One of the pools in the neighborhood. The girls had fun until the thunder began and we had to leave.
We arrived and didn't lock the car when we first arrived. Before we could unload the car, the neighborhood BOO BOO the Bear decided to have a snack. Fortunately no damage to the car!

The cabin was very nice, however the parking wasn’t as the picture of the cabin represented. There needs to be newer photos put on the website. The whole front of the cabin is totally different. The tv in the living room didn’t work, however the owner did replace it the evening before we left. We made due though with games. The hot tub was awesome, everyone enjoyed it.It’s a little bit scary getting up to the cabin but that comes with the territory! lol We did get a taste of mountain life, the morning we were getting ready to leave, we had a visit from a bear, he sniffed around then scampered off. Makes for a lasting memory!

Something Special

The “cabin” was perfect for our needs/family. It was located East of downtown Gatlinburg but allowed us to be out of the hustle and bustle of town. The one thing I feel I was misled on is that the owner informed me that there was only a “starter kit” of paper products and trash bags, I had to supply them after they were used. There wasn’t a mention of this in the listing of amenities.

Amazing

It was great. You can definitely sleep great at night. Very piecefull. Loved the book they had made up of rules. Read it first thing and took pictures of stuff I seen. But over all would rent it again.
