About this property

Country home on scenic, quiet acreage near Monument. Convenient to interstate.

This home in the country is new with modern appliances, clean rooms and is comfortable inside and out. Although it is called a barndominium, there are no animals on the property. Part of the building is used as a large garage. It is convenient to the interstate, shopping centers north of Colorado Springs and Denver is only 40 minutes away. It's located just north of the Air Force Academy and near the foot of Pikes Peak with plenty of tourist options. The property provides country living, surrounded by pines, deer in the pasture, horses grazing and stars at night. It is an ideal place to relax, barbecue, picnic at small lakes and hike on nature trails. Major shopping centers are 10-20 minutes away: Bass Pro, Walmart, Home Depot, Scheels, movie theaters and chain restaurants. The small town of Monument includes gift shops, small coffee nooks, and specialty eating places. Spruce Mountain Events Center is 7 minutes away and Jellystone at Larkspur is 12 minutes away. Numerous nearby hiking trails include Greenland Open Space, Spruce Mountain Open Space, Palmer Lake, and the Santa Fe Trail. Camper, RV, or trailer parking is available on site while staying (campers may not be occupied).

This property was perfect for our family of 4 and totally per friendly. The beds were super comfortable, the place was very clean and kirchen was well stacked. We were in Monument for a wedding and it was VERY convenient to all events we attended. If there is ever a need again to stay in Monument we would stay here again.

Beautiful place peaceful it’s a perfect spot between both big cities, we’re definitely going back. We had a little issue with internet but the owner was awesome took care of it the same night. It’s great for kids and pets.

Quick trip!

The house was quite comfortable and had everything we needed for our trip. We enjoyed seeing some wildlife and the shooting stars at night! Kevin was super responsive and we appreciated the early check in. Highly recommend this property.

We couldn’t be more pleased, everything was great, location was perfect. We enjoyed bbqing, the horses were a plus to see and pet. The wild life walking around while drinking coffee early mornings was amazing.

This was our second time staying at the property, and it was like coming home. We love how quiet the home is, and it's close to great restaurants and other amenities. We were visiting our daughter at the Air Force Academy, and this location is close to the freeway. We enjoyed the beautiful views and the fact we could see the stars at night in the peaceful country. Kevin is easy to communicate with, and the house had everything we needed. We're hoping to visit again the next time we come out.

We enjoyed coffee each morning sitting outside enjoying the deer and birds. The location was convenient for us and easy to find. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. We recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Quiet house. We saw wildlife up close on the last day. Internet was not the best. Kevin tried to do his best to get fixed before we left. Not a deal breaker for us since we were barely there. They also have plenty of board games to play. Overall, great place to stay at.

Great Christmas stay

My family stayed at the Barndominium over Christmas. The owners were amazing - the home had Christmas lights and a Christmas tree that made our family get together feel like we were at home. The place is super convenient to Colorado Springs. It was clean and well maintained. Thanks!

Wonderful getaway

This is an awesome place to take a small family out of the city. So pea and beautiful. Very clean and lovely on the inside and out. Deer in the front yard every morning. Host was great and very responsive. This place has everything you could need or want.

Love the Barndiminium

Great spot to have a home base to go fishing. Saw some mule deer in the front yard one morning and enjoyed the nature. Perfect spot to Lauch into Denver or down to the Springs. Kevin was a great host.

Peace and Quiet

My husband and I chose to stay here as part of our vacation to Colorado Springs. So glad we did! It was so peaceful- just what we needed! We kept saying how relaxed we were there. Plenty of room and comfortable King bed. It was a home away from home with everything we needed.. thank you Kevin for being such a grateful host!I would stay here again !

Booked to stay here while we were in town for work. Couldn't of picked a better place to stay, house was amazing and the view everyday was one of kind. Uniquely Country

This barndominium is uniquely country with deers on property in morning and horses/Lucy/Harley on neighboring pasture. This setting is only 10 minutes from stores and restaurants in Monument and 20 minutes from Colorado Springs. Enjoyed nearby hiking, stars at night and beautiful Mountain View’s.

Barndominion beauty and comfort

This was a home away from him to have a place to relax and enjoy quiet and family time with our son!! He is in the military and to have comforts of home to share with him was the best!! The most amazing luxury features, Fluffy white towels, walk in glass shower, soft pillows, fall into sleeping mattresses that were the right amount firmness and softness, kitchen comfort, and easy to get to many places we wanted to visit!! You will not regret booking this place!!

The property is beautiful!! We had multiple deer in the yard every day which was so cool to wake up to! There was a nice breeze with the windows open but we also had a couple 90 degree days which got a little toasty inside. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. It all felt private and peaceful!

had to rent for a tenant of mine. Desperate! place was ridiculously expensive. Not sure Id recommend even though it looked like a cute place. Felt like I was renting from a computer and would have liked to talk to a human.
