Elite Mountain retreat, hot tub, 2 fireplaces, walk to the falls, trout fishing
In the heart of the Pikes Peak region there is a unique resort village captured by pine covered mountains, two water falls, and a trout lake. It is appropriately called Green Mountain Falls. On the road to the falls is the newest vacation home in the region, Mountain Symphony. Recognized for its achievements in design that blends classic cabin ambiance with Five Star amenities, Mountain Symphony is considered one of the finer vacation homes in the Pikes Peak region .
Accommodations rival that of fine hotels like the Colorado Springs Broadmoor with king beds, fine linens, granite counters, professional cooking appliances, large showers with temperature select controls, stone fireplaces and mountain views.
Located in the very center of the Pikes Peak region's major tourist attractions, Mountain Symphony is surrounded by rocky mountain beauty. Mount Dewey Preserve is its back yard and a small mountain stream is across the entry road. It is walking distance to two waterfalls, four hiking trails, three restaurants, swimming pool, and a trout lake. Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Seven Falls, Pikes Peak summit, Manitou Incline, North Pole amusement park, fabulous Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and Pikes Peak toll road are all within 15 minutes. The Air force Academy, Cripple Creek Gold mining experience, and some of the best fly fishing in the country is 30 minutes away. A bit further is class 5 white water rafting on the Arkansas, and Mt Princeton hot springs.
Green Mountain Fall’s restaurants include: The Pantry, the most popular breakfast restaurant in the region, Cantina Verde, authentic southwest cuisine and the Blue Moose Tavern with an outdoor dining deck overlooking the lake.

Second time staying here. Always a great time. Hiking in the area is great. And close to Colorado Springs attractions like Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, and Cheyenne Zoo.
Went as expected. We would stay again when in the area. Enjoyed fireplace each night. Very clean and host always available for questions or problems if necessary. Our stay was flawless. Having garage was also a plus for privacy and security.
The house was very private, comfortable and close to so much to do. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. If you follow the road up on foot, there is great little trail system and the Mexican restaurant in town was wonderful. We really appreciated the guide of restaurants.
Everything was perfect. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Host was very responsive and easy to get a hold of. Would highly recommended this property.
Great place to stay and close to everything we wanted to do like Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, Rainbow Falls and Manitou Springs! Hosts were very responsive. Highly recommend staying here.
I cannot begin to tell you how great our stay was over Christmas. Everything was clean and tidy, THANK YOU! There is no way that I wouldn't recommend this property!!! Pam was so kind in getting us all checked in and being quick to answer any questions. This is one of the best properties that we've stayed in!
We really enjoyed our recent stay! The location was perfect for visiting the Pikes Peak and Colorado Springs area. The house was very spacious and well equipped. Even though it sits in a populated neighborhood, it was very quiet. I absolutely loved the bedroom closet and built in armoire and wish i could replicate that in my home. Would definitely stay there again if ever back in the area!
We loved our stay and appreciated the book at the house with recommendations on activities and dining. The house was as described and we enjoyed the unique layout. The town was beautiful and close proximity to many other locations we visited. Wildlife visited the yard as well!
We loved our stay. The house is as described and was very clean. Had all amenities you’d need. Very peaceful neighborhood and close to nice hike and waterfall. The owners were very responsive and exceptionally helpful!
The property was a great getaway! The manager was very nice and made up the sofa bed along with a packnplay. The neighborhood seemed like mostly rentals and very safe. Happy to have the AC and fans for summer.
Enjoyed our stay, house was just perfect for us. The beds are comfortable, liked that it’s very close to Woodland Park!

Our experience managing yachts that chartered for up to $25,000 a day, you read that correctly, has influenced our management style at Mountain Symphony and our sister vacation home in nearby Woodland Park, Trout Creek Villa. You won’t have a helicopter, private chef, or your own cabin steward but you will feel, most importantly, that the house is yours. You are not a guest but like our yacht clients, the occasional owner. Our yachts and Mountain Symphony were designed for vacation living with amenities and details that few vacation homes and no hotels offer.
Why they chose this property
Why this property?
As proud owners who designed and built the house, we are incredibly biased and to avoid embarrassing ourselves with overly grandiose comments we have pulled the following comments from our guest book.
"We get the symphony part of your name, each morning before the kids were up demanding what we were going to do each day we would set outside with our coffee and relish the peace of your mountain symphony, the gurgle of the little stream, distant waterfall, and wind in the pines"
"Our favorite experience was the hike up the falls. The trail begins up the street from the house. Pretty easy climb that switchbacks to the top of the falls and a beautiful meadow where we found wild strawberries and a magnificent view of the town. We met hikers with fishing poles who said that they were continuing on to the Pikes Peak reservoirs further up the trail"
"What a lovely village, it reminds me of the simple little villages in the Alps that I remember from my youth. Three quaint restaurants, a lake with steep mountains rising up each sides dotted with summer cabins. The least commercial place I have been to in in Colorado"
"Walked to the town center this morning for breakfast, took us about 30 minutes as my 5 year old son had to continually check the stream for fish. Across from the lake we had the best breakfast I can remember, really! Cinnamon Bread toast, how can you go wrong with that. It’s popular so get there early or late morning"
Can’t say enough about this house, better than the photos, location on the road to the falls was perfect, mostly hiker traffic and a view of the mountain that the falls come down from".
"Perfect location minutes from Manitou, Cave of the winds, North Pole amusement park, if you have kids the penny arcade in Manitou is a must visit that not everyone knows about"
