Property is amazing. Very peaceful and serene. Host was very helpful and responsive. My husband and I had a wonderful long weekend - cooked in the kitchen, sat on the back porch and enjoyed a cool day in the mountains listening to the stream.Just a note that there is no cell signal for AT&T or Verizon. The wifi works great though and there is a land line for calls.

The Shangri-La Casita is clean, spacious, and private. You can stay up in the mountains, but still have Internet and only need to cross the road to enjoy a good tub soak at. Ten Thousand Waves. We’ll be back!

The house was super cute with great outdoor spaces. The kitchen was well appointed. The bed was comfortable. Conveniently located near grocery stores & restaurants but tucked away & very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

Spacious for a one bedroom VRBO. Comfortable bed. Nice shower and a separate tub which was unexpected. The location was convenient for attending the Santa Fe opera.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful time staying at Shangri La! The host was very thoughtful and the house was adorable and cozy. Great location to skiing! I don’t think we could have gotten closer.

Wow!

What a cool stay! Close to skiing with rentals close by. Ski bus steps nearby. Property amazing. Bed comfy. Near all the restaurants, short drive. Host was so thoughtful and accommodating.

Most of us realize that unexpected things sometimes occur when traveling. This is life. The important thing is how mistakes are handled. The door code we had been sent in advance by our host did not work when my husband, who arrived ahead of me, tried to enter the house late at night after a long drive. My husband had little or no connectivity outside the house, which is located outside the city limits of Santa Fe. He drove into Santa Fe, sent me several text messages, returned to the house, and made an attempt to sleep in his vehicle. When the sun crested the horizon, he walked around the house, found an unlocked door, and discovered the rental had not been cleaned after the last stay.When our host awoke and read the messages I had been transmitting about my husband's situation, she immediately apologized and offered us a refund for our first day's rent. She discovered a glitch in the booking software that explained the nonworking door code and the uncleaned house. The cleaning crew had believed no one was checking in the previous day and had adjusted their cleaning schedule accordingly. The host made arrangements to have the house cleaned later in the afternoon after my husband logged some sleep on the sofa.By the time I arrived, everything had been resolved. The house is very private and comfortable. The decor is eclectic and interesting. After we logged in, the Internet service was speedy and reliable. There are a number of excellent grocery stores in Santa Fe.
