This clean cozy cabin in Mazama was a great launching point for our early fall visit to the Cascades! Highlights include the well stocked kitchen, grill, delightful fireplace and a gorgeous creek right behind the cabin. The grounds were very peaceful for walking and birdwatching! Also enjoyed using the hot tub at the Freestone Inn, which was a 10 min walk from the cabin and overlooks a lake!

The host was very responsive, the cabin was clean and a great spot for a couple.And a good location. The bed was a little too firm for me. Everything else was great.

Perfect. The cabin is right by a roaring rapids river that is so soothing at night. It is decorated beautifully and has everything you need. Bed is huge and very comfortable. Location to Mazama Store (baked goods and sandwiches are fantastic) and the Mazama Public House brewery is great. Would highly recommend

The atmosphere of the cozy creekside bunkhouse was exactly what I needed and was hoping for. Walking out in the morning to have my cup of coffee and hear the running creek from the deck was a small escape from the rush of city life. It’s in the perfect location for hiking in the North Cascades, as well as fun shopping in small town Winthrop. While it may not have all the amenities, I never once felt like I went without anything I needed during my day at the bunkhouse and my husband was very delighted with the internet. I’m a sucker for history, and you can tell how much of it is in the home with you as well as how much love and respect the host has for the area. A wonderful place to stay for a true destination getaway.

Great cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. We loved having coffee on the porch each morning and listening the creek and wildlife. We’ll definitely book this cabin again in the future.

Relaxing

This was a healing location for me to spend some of the last days of my dogs life. The rushing stream lulled us to sleep each night. The forest surrounding us was comforting.
