Family vacation

Overall a good experience, a nice pool, close to the ocean and enough room for everyone. The downside was shabby furniture and a rug well past its prime.

Good place to get whole group at one location much better than staying at condos. Great room and pool table served us well. Large island in Kitchen also nice feature. We had 10 in our group this place would easily handle 12 to 16. Overall nice place.

The property is in a great location close to many of Myrtle Beach's good restaurants and golf courses. The furnishings were acceptable but somewhat worn/dated. Great balconies over the pool area. Communication was difficult as there were multiple numbers for contacting the host, none of which actually contacted the host. Eventually one of the numbers gave me another number to contact the host.

Wonderful vacation home!!!

This was a huge property which had enough space for my entire family. We loved the huge kitchen table which allowed everyone to eat together. The bedrooms all were great and a few had their own bathrooms. The pool area was nice, however, we had to hammer in nails that were popping up on the wood stairs and the pool was pretty dirty when we arrived. A pool cleaner came the next day which helped take out all the sand at the bottom of the pool. This house is a short walk to the beach, grocery and liquor stores as well as restaurants and bars in the area. Our young children and the adults couldn't get enough of the pool area. Other than the minor issues previously mentioned it was an amazing place to stay!!!!

First of all don’t expect to come here and get in earlier than 4:00 pm.That’s some lame stuff right there!! Then I called several times about a Tv not working in the game room And finally someone was contacted and was told someone will be by but they must’ve gotten lost because they never showed up.

Very nice set up for large family with bedrooms upstairs and big family and kitchen area to spend time together. Loved the game room and large refrigerator freezer and the stock of dishes. Only negative was not enough bath towels and no hand towels. Doors were also locked before the 10 o'clock check out time. House was clean and responded quickly with concerns. Pool in this particular unit was cold because it had no sun during this time of year, but other units did not appear to have the same issue. Within walking distance of grocery store and restaurants and quick, easy access to the beach. Definitely recommend to others and very likely use again next year.

great location to the beach

Overall we were very pleased with the size of the unit and the location in relationship to the beach. This was a large family vacation including 3 families, grandparents and great grandparents. (There are a lot of stairs so make sure you can navigate them!) The bedroom space and bathrooms were great size. The only downfall was the pillow situation (lumpy and only one per bed) That can be remedied if you bring your own. The kitchen and downstairs gathering spaces were nice and spacious. There were two refrigerators but the large one without the freezer was not reliable with the temperature. The private pool was a plus but the pool furniture was broken and some of the boards on the railing and stairs to the pool needed nailed/repaired. The balconies were very nice and were a great place to sit and relax and cool off. There was a nice outdoor shower to get rid of the sand from the beach! The outdoor eating space had two nice picnic tables but the floor was in need of power washing and tidying up. Over all we really enjoyed the space and the amenities!!

Not what you pay for

First off the place was not clean the furniture was terrible couches had covers on them and they were nasty we took them off and washed them. Every bed in the house was Uncomfortable. We had to mop the floors and where there was carpet it was nasty. The Maintenance man was checking the a/c my son n law looked at the filters and they looked like they hadn’t been changed in a year were so nasty. The light that goes inside the pool was out laying on the deck had to call twice to get them come put it back in and then it didn’t work. Over all for the money we paid for this place is was very disappointing will never stay there again. Plus my Daughter left some clothes hanging in closet and call as soon as she got home and they were so rude to her and didn’t get.them back.

Good layout, but disappointing in quality

The layout of the home was perfect for our multi family trip. The location was also perfect as it was a very short walk to the beach. The house, however, was not very clean when we arrived as the counters were grimy and the floor left everyone’s feet and socks black. The house also lacked a broom to be able to sweep up sand from the beach or just having 19 people in one house. There were not enough utensils for all of us to eat one meal together. The house was to sleep 22, and we only had 19 people. The pans and skillets were not in great condition either which made it hard to cook for the large group. All of the beds were very squeaky, just rolling in bed or trying to get out could be heard by the room next door. The lights in the stairwell were burnt out which made going up/down the stairs in the dark dangerous. I had reached out to the management company and while they were responsive to my communication, when the maintenance guy came out, he did not fix it. So while the house fit out needs for the size of our group, we will not be staying there again next year.

Great Location for the price.......but......3.5 stars

This house is a great choice for the price and location, however there are a few things that need addressed as well as information that should be added in the description. The stairs are extremely steep and there are 3 flights of stairs. All bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. One bedroom on the second floor has no bathroom and there is no bathroom on the second floor that doesn't require you to go into another bedroom to get to it. There is one central bathroom off the game room for general use. Our freezer did not work. We called maintenance and they sent someone right over, who then had to call a repair man. He recharged and fixed the ice machine, however it never got cold enough and never produced ice, only slush. With 21 people we lost everything in the freezer and had to buy a lot of ice. Glad we brought many coolers. There is NO outside trash can for this property. All trash has to be carried down the street to the dumpster. Again, with that many people and a 13 gal trash can, lots of trash & trips. The pool was small and only 3.5 feet, but the kids loved it. The pool lounge chairs were dry-rotted and only one could be used. We got the Towel & Linen package which was nice, but not nearly enough towels. Kitchen said well furnished, however the mixer did not work and storage containers and large bowels were sparse. We brought a griddle and large skillet so we were okay. WiFi was adequate but does not reach the 3rd floor for streaming any videos or kids tablets. There was no mop or dustpan and the broom was awful. We could have used those with the ceramic floors and all the sand. Carpet on stairs was stained as well as several bedrooms, house need some TLC and definitely a more accurate description. we had a great time and you are close to many things. Beach was beautiful and not overly occupied. Good property for young people where stairs are not an issue.

Great house and location. After reading the June 2021 review we were very concerned. But, the house was clean, washer/dryer working. Very spacious house for our group of 8 adults and 7 children. Pool was very clean. Needs some upgrade. Dishwasher racks should be replaced. TV remotes need new batteries. Overall would stay at house again!

Sand on the sheets

Washer and dryer is broken and didn’t get to wash sheets. The bedsheets had sand on them so we know they was not clean. Found underwear under one bed found an adult swimsuit under another bed. Had to buy bedding because washing machine wouldn’t work. We made sure all the trash that was left from another family on the decks around the pool under the car port was cleaned up to make sure they didn’t think we left it there. You pay a large fee for cleaning and the cleaning staff is awful. In other resortsThey make you take the sheets off the bed not at this place you leave the sheets on your bed so I guess someone else can sleep on them to but we took all the bedding off and went to the laundromat very disappointed

Pros and Cons - the pool was a mess after the recent hurricane but management was there immediately and did a great job getting the pool ready so we could use it - Con- we had a terrible time getting in. The door code didn't work so I called the number. I was told to look on the door jamb for a key box and there was no key box on the door jam. We finally located it at the bottom of the stairs in the garage area and were able to get in after 15 minutes being on the phone to figure it out. Con- no trash can at the property but the trash dumpster was only two houses away so it wasn't too far Con- no frying pans onsite, so we had to buy some. However management did get some there on Thursday so the next family would have them (Pro) Con- the beds were not comfortable and were VERY squeaky Pro- the main living space was nicely organized Pro- except for the frying pans the kitchen was nicely equipped with everything needed to cook for the week Pro- the pool was nice Con- no beach chairs, or boogie boards or pool toys so definitely bring your own Pro- very close to the beach Overall I would give this place a 3. Also although it says you get the whole house it is in fact a duplex so you will be RIGHT next to you neighbors on one side and SUPER close to neighbors in next door house. AND there is NO backyard for playing. The backyard IS the pool. No grass.

When I first got to the property, I immediately noticed some damages, scratches on the walls, food stains, and not a pleasant smell. I was questioning if the property was actually cleaned before my stay. Overall, for the price and seriousness of rules I was expecting the home to fit a much higher standard as far as presentation (how it looked in person). Good thing is the space accommodated everyone. Had some issues with Management at the very end that set the tone for the future. I will not be doing business with this company ever again!

Large and affordable but not fancy

It was definitely large and affordable but we were greeted with dead cockroaches, the floors and carpet were filthy (couldn’t walk around the house without getting black feet) and many stains on furniture. Pool wasn’t clean when we arrived. A service came on Saturday- two days into our stay. But if you’re looking for a place to sleep a lot of people close to the beach- it checks those boxes.

Good location, close to beach but house needs some work on inside!

Pool was nice and clean (Pool guys even came on Saturday when we were there and cleaned the pool). The house had no outside garbage can,we had to walk our trash a street down to a dumpster. There was only one very old bearly worked outside light under one side of the carport. The light on the staircase did not work at all so we had to be very careful going down the stairs in the dark. The Freezer was not working good our ice and food kept melting. There was mold in the bathrooms and the bath towels were small and cheap and we could have used more. Other than that the air worked good, the couches were comfortable and the kitchen was very nice. Bedrooms were fine. The house could use a total repaint and more pool furniture, and better grill, and updated lighting all outside to brighten the place up to see. The door handles were old looking too.

family vacation

Our family of 15 had a great time in the pool, but the house was not as nice as we expected. The carpet was filthy, the shower curtain in bedroom #2 was so moldy that I went to the store and bought a cleaner before my husband and I could use it. The kitchen was not supplied with a workable blender (I called the management and they did bring one) and there was not a can opener - there was a broken one. The dishes had to be washed before we could use them. The sofas should have been cleaned and the mattresses were all in bad shape. We had a great time just because we were all together. We will not get this house again.
