The space
The bedrooms have a good amount of space with a closet to hang your clothes and 3 drawers available. In addition, a luggage rack is provided for your convenience. The living room offers a fluid space where you can sit, enjoy a game, and/or conversate with those in the dining space or kitchen. The back door is next to the kitchen. The primary bedroom has access to the second bathroom which houses the laundry unit. The backyard provides access to a fully fenced backyard with a beautiful paved patio and firepit.

Everything for our stay was exactly as described and pictures online. The house was very clean and comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the games and the tvs also worked well. The beds were comfortable. It was a lot of space for our family of 8 people. The laundry also worked very well! We would stay here again.

Great Family home stay!

Great space for a large family! We traveled for a wedding and had enough comfortable space for 11 people in this house. Super comfy beds and loved the extra games for entertainment. Would recommend if you need a stay for your family.

This property was perfect for our family. There are no steps which worked well for my mother in law and my son who is in a wheelchair. There was a driveway to park in which was great. We were able to have fires in the backyard and the neighborhood was very quite. The host was so nice and checked in to see how our stay was going and if we needed anything. The house was close to a lot of stores, attractions and the downtown area. I definitely recommend this place!

The host is incredibly friends and responds to messages quickly. Unfortunately the home needs a little work. When we arrived we found it to smell very musty, and had to open the windows and get candles to correct the smell. The rugs are very stained and we had to walk around in socks, as the floors leave your feet black. With the said- it was in close proximity to the zoo and what we needed for the weekend.

Would of liked the patio area outback more appealing. Instead patio furniture, grill and patio area was filthy cobwebs everywhere including windows, no grass but weeds. The inside was comfortable and we enjoyed it. We had a good week.

Nice stay!

Casa Westside suited our purposes perfectly. We were traveling for a family wedding and needed space. The house is small but has four bedrooms and two bathrooms… exactly what we needed. Three bedrooms and a bathroom were on one side of the central living area, and perfect for the young family with us. There is another bedroom and bath on the other side of the living area and worked for my husband and me. Every room had a queen sized bed. The laundry and kitchen appliances were really nice! But really the best feature of this house was the responsiveness of Jose, the owner. Everything was easy and the location was near where we needed to be for our four days there.

Property was as stated in the listing. Given the time of year, arachnids and other creepy crawlers were both inside and out. A quick dust/sweep might have been in order. Property was quiet and as stated. Wasn't able to find any "instructions" for us regarding trash/dishwasher/laundry departure instructions. We would have been happy to comply but had no reference. Would recommend this owner and stay was just what we needed. Thanks.

Spring break

We stayed here with 4 adults and 5 kiddos. The beds were very comfortable and it was a quaint little house that worked perfectly for our short stay. The location is close to multiple grocery places, plenty of restaurant choices near by, and under 15 minutes from the zoo (the reason we were there). If you are just needing a location to crash while doing plenty around the town this is great for a family. The only down side was that multiple outlets weren't working in the living area, but not a big deal over all.

Short Family Getaway

Overall we enjoyed our stay in Casa Westside and enjoyed the firepit on our last evening there with roasting hotdogs and s'mores! But there were a few things about the property that need/needed addressing...when we arrived, you could tell it had been a bit since someone had stayed due to the grass height being to our knees. We let the host know and the next day it was taken care of while we were at the zoo. The outside trash cans were full of old nasty trash even though they were on the curb as if it were trash day. Maybe the neighbors were using them? The inside of the house was clean per se. Again, seemed like it had been a bit since someone stayed due to it just being clean on the surface verses freshly cleaned. With it also being an older home, the insects found their way in easily. Bug treatment would help with that. There were a few previous damages we noticed and notified the host. The host appreciated the information and stated they would look into them/work on the fixes after our stay. The host was responsive and helpful when needed.
