Great location and short walk to the beach. The condo was very nice and overall happy with my stay The pool was a nice size that included 2 jacuzzis. The condo was close to the stairs so it was easy access to my vehicle.. only downfall is you're only allowed 1 vehicle on premises.

Staff was very friendly. Location itself was perfect for the events we had planned. Only few issues we encountered: (1) door handle to refrigerator broken (2) leg of night stand in bedroom broken (missing) (3) there was no complimentary coffee for 1st night as stated (4) there was a dead moth in the bed :(

I am glad the location was just right for you and your group and our staff takes pride in being helpful and friendly, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I also want to apologize for the two maintenance issues you reported. When issues do come up it is difficult to replace items like the handle of a refrigerator on the same day it happened, unfortunately we had to order the part and it was not fixed in time for your stay. Both issues have been fixed and the condo is back in excellence condition, as I am sure you experienced, this is a great condo. When you return to South Padre Island I hope you look us up, we will be happy to see you again. I also want to note that I am not sure where the mention of free coffee was listed, we do not have that amenity listed on our page. I apologize is there was any confusion on this. I hope you were able to visit some of our great coffee shops while you were here, one of my favorites is Captain Donuts. Again, thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was close to our friends at the Rv park. We didn’t like having to pay for wristbands, though, that we didn’t even use. The tv’s weren’t very user friendly, either.

Everything very old, old furniture, stains on chairs, floor had tiles with gouges in them, bathroom had mirror sitting on counter, could not see full mirror, dresser inside smelled mildew so clothes picked up odor, had to remove, blinds in bedroom had pieces missing, patio door missing panel, broom and mop filthy and floor sandy. Had to brush feet off before bed. Should be taken off of market till they remodel. Paid over $600 including $95 cleaning fee and then left envelope for tip. Shame on VRBO or whoever for these charges.

We just inspected the unit and replaced the missing panels, broom and mop. We are going to address the smell in the drawers, not sure what could have caused that, perhaps the previous guest left their wet clothes in there a little too long - but rest assured, we'll get it taken care of. We really appreciate your feedback when it comes to these kinds of things - it helps us in knowing what our guests are experiencing during their stay. We want to make sure our guests are happy from the moment they check-in, to the moment they check-out. We will use your feedback to reach out the cleaning staff to make sure they're properly addressing sand build-up. 3 Night Family Stay

Pros: 1. Excellent communication and check in with Padre Island Rentals. 2. Great location on the island and within the complex. Close to parking, the stairs (2nd floor unit), and coin operated laundry. 3. Nice pool area. 4. Fairly short walk to beach through Schlitterbahn, but wouldn’t want to carry a lot. Cons: 1. Bathroom is very small. There is very little room to hang wet swimsuits or towels and little counter space. 2. Living room is crowded. There is a sofa in the living room that is not pictured. The futon in the picture was against the wall of windows and can be made up into a bed. 3. Unit is pretty dated. Chipping paint, old nicked furniture, a folded piece of paper used to help hold up the shower curtain rod. Very basic linens and kitchen items. Notes: 1. There is no dishwasher. 2. There is no bathtub. 3. There is beach service (2 chairs/1 umbrella) through Schlitterbahn or the complex next door. We paid $30/day. For three kids and husband it was fine. Harder for a mom trying to keep everything organized and clean.

The condo was sufficient. There was enough sleeping space and it was clean. But the condo was aging; everything was very beat up and rundown, which made it feel like it wasn't clean. It was crowded (more furniture has been added since the picture was taken). There was nowhere to hang towels and swimsuits to dry, so they were just hanging on all the furniture. There was easy access to the beach, and the beach area was very nice.

It’s on the 2nd floor, which was good. In the same parking lot as the Schlitterbahn. It was about a 5 minute walk to the beach. We had a great time and would stay there again.

Great location; great price

The condo was clean. The remotes for both TV's did not match the TV's and did not work. If you want clean towels one has to go about 2 miles away to exchange towels. This is a negative. Otherwise the place was in a good location for Schlitterbahn and for the beach. We would not hesitate to stay at same location (and same unit for that matter) in the future.

Great condo, great location, will go back

I have 5 kiddos ranging in age from 1 to 16 and this condo was great for us. Close to the beach, great pool with security, fully stocked for all our needs. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the ramp to the beach was under construction so we had to haul everything up and down stairs each day that we went to the beach.

Awesome roomy,clean room

We had an amazing experience stay in this condo. There was an easy convenient check in process. The room was very spacious and cozzy we are a family of five and were all very comfortable. Great condo....very neat and clean....near the beach.

This condo is neat, clean, well-furnished and exactly as described and photographed. The location is a very short walk to the beach. There is a very nice, large tiled shower in the bathroom. The bathroom is a little small, but adequate and has storage in the sink cabinet. We recommend this condo and would stay here another time.

Arrived to check in everyone was very helpful. Only had one little issue with the condo it was the handle to the balcony door it was fixed ASAP.
