We had a great weekend. The house was comfortable and great for a weekend getaway. The dock was perfect for fishing and just hanging out. Overall great experience. Look forward to coming back in the future.

We had such a wonderful experience staying at this cabin! Before we started our visit, we asked if we could check in a day early and the host graciously approved and coordinated payment for the additional night. We appreciate the flexibility and the process to pay for the additional night was seamless. Our flight from Seattle to DFW was delayed so we didn’t arrive at the cabin until very late at night. Fortunately for us, the instructions to get to and enter the cabin were very detailed and easy to follow! We are very grateful for the detailed instructions with everything exactly as described! When we woke up the next morning, the view of the lake was breathtaking! The cabin was impeccably clean, stylishly decorated, and came with thoughtful touches such as beach towels rolled up in beautiful basket.Our host was warm, friendly, kind, and responsive! We enjoyed our time with family swimming on the dock, cooking on the grill, and sitting on the back patio under the canopy of shade trees.It was such a pleasure to stay at this lovely cabin!

My family had a wonderful getaway at this property. The crown jewel of this property is the amazing 2 story dock. We spent most of our time boating or hanging around the dock swimming and fishing. This vacation rental has more of a “staying the weekend in a friend’s house” vibe than a hotel like atmosphere. The family who owns this property clearly uses it often. They keep a lot of their items there. Unpacking space is limited. Similarly, the cleanliness is more reminiscent of cleaning for a friend to come over vs a hotel style deep clean. On the flip slide, the host is incredibly accommodating and happy to help you with anything you need and truly wants you to enjoy your time at their property. If you are looking for a cozy cabin with a 5 star dock to have a laid back time at the lake this is a great spot for you! If you are a little more particular and need a sparkling clean space that feels untouched this is not the one for you. Anything material to the needs of a vacation house was provided- so many towels and linens were available. The water in the shower was warm and had good pressure. The home felt safe and secure. The homes next to this one are luxury mansions. It’s in a very desirable location.

Amazing property!

Rental was even better than anticipated, when we walked in the A/C was on and place was spotless. The private dock was awesome, we just tied our boat up and had great access to the lake. Will definitely be staying here again! The owner was easy to communicate with and was very excited to share their home with us!

Possum kingdom stay

My family had such a good time at this property! The dock is amazing! It rained pretty much the whole time we were here so we were thankful for the movies and games provided. It was nice to sit in the screened in porch and listen to the rain and just relax. Thank you Julie, we will definitely be back!
