Welcome to Lothlorien Retreat!

Entering this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom true log cabin that comfortably sleeps 8, you'll get the full smoky mountains experience!

This charming cabin has an unbeatable location!

It's tucked into a quiet, wooded area in the hills while being only 5 minutes from all the excitement of Pigeon Forge.

You will be located:
-5 min from the Pigeon Forge Parkway
-15 min from Dollywood
-15-20 min from Gatlinburg
-20-30 min from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Enjoy the adventure of the mountains without dealing with any scary roads! All roads leading to the cabin are wide, paved and gently sloping.

This cabin is located in the quiet and gated log cabin community of Sherwood Forest Resort. The neighborhood features include street lights, fire hydrants, city water and a 30' x 50' resort pool that is open between Memorial Day thru early September.

Sherwood Forest Resort is located at the southern end of the Pigeon Forge and is convenient to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The cabin is 5 minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway (traffic light #10) and is less than 5 miles away from Dollywood and is close to all the Parkway restaurants, attractions and fun.

There are no steep roads on the way to the cabin. The parking area in front of cabin is on a flat surface with no incline and can fit 2 cars.

Lothlorien Retreat is a 2 bedroom cabin that sleeps 8. There are 2 king bedrooms and 2 full baths.

One is located on the first floor next to the downstairs full bathroom. The second king sized bedroom is located on the 2nd floor with its own bathroom.

There is a twin sized bunk bed in the game loft area. The game loft has a pool table and an arcade system, for an awesome throwback gaming experience!

There is a sofa sleeper that sleeps two on a first floor. Linens and sheets are provided for all sleeping areas.

Cozy up with a blanket by the fireplace while watching all of your favorite shows on our big screen Smart TV with basic cable and the option to log into your Netflix account or any other service you personally pay for.

Cook something up on the grill and relax with a beer on the porch with a view of the forest!

The outdoor porch features a 4 person hot tub to unwind after a day in the park.

We also have a fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals if you're having a night in.

If you want to work from home, we have you covered with high-speed internet.

The cabin is also stocked up with board games and arcade games for your entertainment, not to mention a pool table!

Nice cabin

The cabin was nice and clean. I just woke up one morning and it was raining on my head. I don't know how because we was on the bottom floor bedroom. I call host he said he would send someone out. But it had stop raining i said thats okay. So the last night we was there it started raining on us again. Maybe some one will check the roof. Butoverall a very nice cabin.

Great before Christmas stay

Cabin was very nice and well decorated for Christmas. Kitchen was well stocked. Owners were quickly responsive to messages. Would recommend staying at this cabin. Located close to Dollywood.

Great cabin & Great Owners

Nice cabin. Clean and cozy. Appreciated the Christmas decorations. Really enjoyed the fireplace. Comfortable furniture. The owners were awesome to work with. Very hospitable and quick to respond to anything we needed. Would definitely stay there again!!

Cozy Cabin

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and the views of the fall foliage were spectacular! The cabin was the perfect location being close enough to downtown Pigeon Forge but yet nestled away in the privacy of the surrounding trees. The cabin was extremely clean and decorated beautifully for fall. We come to the Gatlinburg area often and will most definitely be staying here again!!

We do this together and our favorite part of hosting are meeting new people and finding creative ways to make the cabin even better!

Why they chose this property

We LOVE Sherwood Forest because it's quiet, convenient and is located in the perfect spot for both a natural getaway and all the excitement of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge!

It's super close to the Smoky Mountain National Park and we LOVE hiking and having mountain adventures with our dog Zeke!

We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

First off it's in a GREAT location, and so close to everything. We love the log cabin style, and the deck is lifted off the ground so you get a great view of the forest.

Lots of wildlife all around, and we love the Hot Tub, and game nights around the pool table.

More than anything, we love to hear from our guests for what they'd like to add and improve on, to make it even better! Let us know some cool improvements and additions we can make!

(What do you think of adding night vision goggles so you can see the animals at night?! My wife is still on the fence, but enough people agree with me and we can change that!)
