Tucked away in a romantic secret garden in the heart of Montmartre, this magnificent “pied a terre” is a real home in Paris.

Light, private, incredibly well equipped, and decorated with exquisite taste, this flat is located in one of Paris’ most confidential neighborhoods. Stay here and you’ll become a true Parisian.

The flat on the second floor is comprised of a sitting and dining room with convertible double sofa bed, oak cupboards and round beige coral dining table. Additional furnishings include bookshelves, contemporary art and wall tapestry. Spacious bedroom, bathed in light, built-in oak wardrobes, Knoll marble desk, queen-sized bed with 2 Knoll bedside tables.
The bathroom/toilet is tiled with natural marble travertine and fitted with oak cupboard and drawers. Modern shower with built-in seat.
The kitchen in beige tiles is fully equipped for intimate dining.

Neighborhood
In the 18th arrondissement, the “Villa des Platanes” is not a street but a residence consisting of several historical buildings situated around a series of tree-filled paved courtyards accessible only to residents with absolute silence: singing birds replace the Paris traffic noise. You can bathe in the atmosphere of the early twentieth century, where many important artists lived in the area… Degas, Renoir, Toulouse Lautrec, Van Gogh and Picasso.

The Moulin Rouge is just a few minutes away. The area has become well-known, thanks to the famous movie “Amélie Poulain”. You can discover the “Café” featured in the film and the ambiance surrounding rue des Abbesses, today one of the most charming and trendiest Paris areas. The neighborhood has a gorgeous food market at the Rue Lepic, many restaurants and young fashion designer boutiques.

The beautiful and famous Sacré Coeur Cathedral and Place du Tertre for your souvenir portrait are nearby.

All Paris is accessible by Metro “Abbesses and Blanche” or Bus. No more than 15 minutes from the Louvre, Tuileries Gardens, Concorde, Opera, Arc de Triomphe…

Lovely apartment. Wonderful hostess.

We had a wonderful week-long stay in this beautiful property: * The apartment is large and well-laid out. It had everything we needed and tasteful artwork throughout. Instructions (in English) were available for all appliances. The external doors and gate are access controlled. * The secret garden is beautiful. Each morning we woke up to birds chirping. We didn’t feel like we were in a city! The building and grounds are quiet. * Great neighborhood. Everything we needed was within a five-minute walk. There were nearby bakeries, grocery stores, cafes, cheese shops, and chocolate shops. We quickly learned our favorite shops and went there almost every day. * Just far enough away from the major attractions that we had an awesome meandering walk each day. We took a different route each day and experienced the charm of Paris that we would not have otherwise. Great location to really experience Paris on foot (but very close to metro)! * Our hostess, Maeggie, made our stay like a second home. She was waiting for us at our arrival and took us on a walking tour of the neighborhood (pointing out all her favorites!). She had great recommendations for us and made herself available as needed throughout our stay either in-person or on WhatsApp. Hospitality seems to come second nature to Maeggie and we considered her more of a friend than a hostess. We highly recommend this property and upon our return would definitely stay here again!

A dream!

This was our first trip to Paris and our stay could not have been more perfect! The apartment was bright, clean, beautiful and quiet. Tucked inside of a gated community, we enjoyed beginning and ending our busy Paris days in this tranquil space filled with trees, flowers and birdsong. Maeggie was the most wonderful host from start to finish and we so enjoyed getting to know her throughout our stay! We are already daydreaming about our next trip to Paris and Maeggie’s beautiful apartment!

Amazing Paradise in Montmartre

This apartment rental is amazing. It is located right in the middle of the bustling Montmartre district, within walking distance of great restaurants, shops, historic sites and the metro. To access the apartment, you leave all of the hustle behind and enter a gated private community with peace and quiet, beautiful trees, plants, manicured gardens, flowers and the serenity of birds and nature. On top of that, the apartment is spacious, nicely furnished and Maeggie is a delightful host who tended to all of our needs. We'd highly recommend this rental if you are planning a visit to Paris!!!
