Glamping at its best! Beautiful custom built yurt on the banks of the Penobscot river along the Grindstone Scenic Byway. Close to Baxter State Park and majestic Mount Katahdin as well as Katahdin Woods and Waters National Park. Two miles to Penobscot River Trails with miles of groomed cross country skiing and mountain biking. 4 seasons of hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting, skiing, and miles and miles of snowmobiling!

The space
30' foot custom build yurt sits on over an acre of private land with 200 feet of riverfront. Stunning views of the river from the large wrap around deck. 2 bedrooms and a loft provide sleeping for 8. Full kitchen and dining area, full bath with a washer and dryer. It is all here for you to enjoy!

Other things to note
Although the snowmobile trails run directly across the river from the yurt, there is not a bridge at our location. We are situated directly between two snowmobile clubs that allow you to leave trailers overnight. Each club is approximately 10-15 miles either way on rt 11 . We do have room to park up to 2 trailers on site.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please leave the air conditioning set to 70. Please make sure the dehumidifier in the loft is still on. Please close all windows and pull shades.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Watch for falling snow off of roof. No smoking No shoes in the loft Try not to touch inside canvas walls
Please only toilet paper in the toilet. Everything else in a trash can.
