The Space:

Snow settles quietly through the trees as you arrive, the woods hushed and still, broken only by the soft crunch underfoot. Steam curls from the hot tub while warm light spills from the cabin windows, inviting you inside after a day outdoors. Fires crackle in the indoor fireplace, cards spread across the table, and long conversations stretch late into the night. The multi‑level deck, framed by evergreens, offers a place to breathe in the crisp mountain air and watch the stars appear.



Sleeping Arrangements

The cabin sleeps up to eight guests across three bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a queen bed, a wood‑burning stove, and private access to the primary bathroom. A second bedroom holds a queen bed, and the third bedroom contains two sets of standard bunk beds, perfect for kids or extra guests.



Bathrooms

Two full bathrooms serve the group. The common bathroom includes a bathtub, while the primary bathroom offers a custom tile shower and a floating tub. Bathroom essentials are provided for comfort.



Kitchen & Living Space

A fully equipped kitchen opens into the main living area, keeping everyone connected while meals are prepared. After dinner, settle onto the sofa to stream a movie on the TV or curl up with a book by the indoor fireplace. Wi‑Fi is included for streaming and light remote work, and a dedicated workspace is available for planning the next adventure.



Outdoor Living

Winter evenings often end outdoors, soaking in the hot tub as the cold air sharpens the senses. The deck overlooks the woods and includes a BBQ grill for year‑round use. A fire pit nearby becomes the natural gathering place once night falls, perfect for quiet conversation beneath the stars.



Family & Pet Friendly

Children’s books, toys, and board games are provided, making it easy to settle in without over planning. Free parking on the premises and a private entrance keep arrivals and departures simple.

We love hosting families and well-behaved dogs! For allergy and maintenance reasons, we’re unfortunately unable to host cats.



The Area

Minutes from Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area, you have access to miles of trails and a large lake surrounded by forest. Berkeley Springs is a short drive away, offering an arts community, shops, restaurants, a local brewery, and a winery. Within The Woods Resort, walking trails are free, while the golf course charges a modest fee. The fitness center and indoor/outdoor pools are reserved for members only.



Practical Notes

The cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before every arrival, but you may still notice a few leaves, pollen, or other outdoor touches, especially in certain seasons. Wi‑Fi can be slower or spotty due to the remote location, so downloading important content in advance is recommended.
