This renovated Kiawah Island vacation rental offers 3 bedrooms, a screened porch, a dock, and lovely lagoon views. The villa is an easy 5-minute walk to the beach. As of 2022, this Parkside villa has received new furnishings and updates throughout.

This beautifully renovated villa offers a two-story townhouse layout with the main living areas on the second floor. The open floor plan allows for easy meal preparation and entertaining during your stay. The large updated kitchen features granite countertops, a beautiful tile backsplash, and stainless steel appliances, including a new french-door refrigerator. The dining area offers a table with seating for six. The comfortable living room, with new furnishings, showcases an elevated ceiling, plenty of seating with a sofa, cozy side chair, and leather recliner, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and access to the screened porch.

Two of the three bedrooms are found on the second floor. The lagoon view primary suite features a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, private bathroom with double sinks and a large shower, and easy access to the screened porch. The second upstairs bedroom offers two twin beds, a flat-screen TV, and bathroom with shower/tub combination. Downstairs you will find the third bedroom, which has a lovely lagoon view, queen-sized bed, flat-screen TV, and access to the deck and dock. The attached bathroom has a shower/tub combination.

The villa features two incredible outdoor spaces with lagoon views: the first floor provides access to the dock and the second floor offers a screened porch. The dock features wraparound bench seating and two chaise lounges. The screened porch has an elevated ceiling, desirable ceiling fan, dining table with six chairs, and two additional cozy chairs. This villa provides ample space to relax with family and friends and abundant opportunities to enjoy the lagoon and surrounding island habitat.

The villa is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

Great place near the beach

We have been coming to Kiawah for years and have rented many places on the island. This 3 bedroom unit has three individual suites each with a bathroom which works really well with our two married children and ourselves. The proximity to the beach is excellent and the alligators in the lagoon below our deck were most entertaining!

We come to Kiawah at least once a year and this is one of my favorite rentals that we have stayed at. 6 adults were in our group and there was more than enough room for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked and the condo was conveniently located. I would definitely book again!

Great Time had by all.

We had a lovely stay in Kiawah and the unit was perfect for our needs. 2 Adults, 2 kids (19 +15). Everyone had more than enough space, their own bathroom, and we took advantage of the screened in porch on the second level and the deck over the lagoon. The unit was clean and the gear rental company delivered and picked up our bikes, beach chairs and umbrella in accordance with the expected timeline. Getting into the unit was a breeze and our communication with the rental company was easily handled all online. We would definitely stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here before and like the unit overall. However, the mattresses are quite tired and need replacing. My back hurt all week! Also, the bed linens need updating. This is a resort location. The linens should reflect this. They were stained. The blinds in the master bedroom are broken so we could not raise them to enjoy the view. I would recommend removing the bulky tv cabinet and dresser, turn the bed to face the water, mount lamps on wall for reading and mount tv on wall with movable arm. also put a loveseat at foot of bed to sit and enjoy the view. With multiple family members it is nice to be able to retreat to room for privacy, but with the current conditions the room is useless.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First let me say we love Kiawah!! We are regular vacationers to the island and have stayed in various townhomes/house rentals. This wasn’t our favorite. I’ll start with the good.Pros: location...close to the beach, night heron, and great view of the lagoon. The size was ideal for our family of 6. Loved that every room had its own bathroom (but they didn’t all work). Liked that we ahead our own bike storage in the front. The size of the kitchen was great! The screened in porch was lovely for meals and overall relaxing.Cons: The unit was not clean. We found mold in the bathrooms, the kitchen sink, my daughter found a toenail clipping in her bed, lots of debris on the floor it didn’t even look vacuumed. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. We actually wanted to stay longer, but my back couldn’t take another night. Mattresses were so firm. Shower issues happen in the two secondary bathrooms days into our rental and everyone ended up using the master bathroom. One shower would not maintain hot water and the downstairs shower toggle to switch from bath to shower broke. The kitchen was large but some of the supplies were lacking. The knife set was extremely dull, no scissors...we prefer to cook instead of going out because we have little ones. We contacted Akers Ellis weeks before our visit asking about the width of the top of the stairs so we could bring a baby gate that would work, but they never got us the information. We still had a great vacation...first trip post Covid and it was desperately needed! We just wouldn’t stay in this unit again, but will definitely be back to Kiawah!

Wonderful….but

Wonderful condo in a great location with a gorgeous view. Beautiful, quick walk to the beach including a bridge walk over the lagoon. Our family loved sitting on the deck and the dock watching the alligators and birds. Only complaints were the beds were very firm and the pillows were very flat and we saw cockroaches on multiple occasions in the foyer and kitchen floor.

Biking and beach fun!

Two couples had a relaxing Labor Day week on this beautiful island resort of Kiawah Island, SC. There were plenty of activities and places to see including riding the beach and trails to some of the most prestigious golf resorts in the nation. A highlight was viewing the dolphin stranding at Captain SAM Spit at low tide unique to Kiawah Island. Dining was a pleasure at numerous clubhouse restaurants. A short trip to Charleston allowed for a plantation visit (Magnolia Plantation) and an Old South Carriage ride where we learned much about the rich Civil War history of this southern city. We loved our vacation and Villa.

We've come to prefer the East Beach area over the years, and were intrigued by the design of the Parkside Villas, as they have deck/piers and pond views. The home itself is very nice. The layout worked well for us with an en-suite bedroom on the entry level, and two bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, and screened porch one flight up. The home is comfortably furnished, and the kitchen well-stocked. The view to the rear of the home is very serene, and we enjoyed spending time on the deck/pier taking in the wildlife. My only criticisms of the property is that the master bedroom has such a great view of the pond, but the window seal in that room is broken, and the window is so fogged on the interior that you can barely get a view. The other dissatisfaction was that the pillows were a bit cheap. I wish I had brought my own. Otherwise, we had a great stay, and would consider this location again.... hopefully with the window replaced and some better quality pillows!

Enjoyed our stay

In general, the location is great, the layout is great and the process was easy. The villa was comfortable but certainly had a beach rental feel about it (needs a paint refresh, matching dinnerware, new shower liners, etc.). These items would not keep me from re-renting, though.
