You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay. Within 16 miles of the of Natural Bridge Park and the Red River gorge and just off of the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway. Come to Cane Creek and make Mountain Memories!
The space
the cabin is new with central air and heat and located on Cane Creek Mountain , two primary bedrooms each with a private bathroom , nice back porch with a beautiful woodland view..take a walk out the country road and enjoy the beautiful view

not only are you nestled in the woods and near the gorge you are also within 25 miles of I64 in mt sterling and we now have WiFi!

Bachelor Trip

A few friends and I came down for a bachelor trip. The cabin had everything we needed. We were able to grill some steaks, sit on the porch, and have a good time. I would rent this place again!

Cozy Cabin in Quiet Neighborhood

My wife and I wanted to take a one night get away with our two boys to go hiking and enjoy a quiet neighborhood. This property is perfect for that! Plan on staying again next year when we next visit red River gorge! Very cozy and family friendly cabin.

A quick adventure with the most hospitable host!

I can't decide what was better, the cabin or the host! Talk about Southern hospitality! Mr. Tipton is a top notch host and we cannot wait to come back to the cabin when the weather is a bit more cooperative. My kids loved meeting and feeding the donkeys! Thank you so very much for having us!

Lovely cabin for a relaxing getaway

This is my second time staying at the cabin, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time. It's very clean and set up nicely with all you need. It's in a good location for hiking in Red River Gorge. Timmy is a great host - very responsive and helpful. I also enjoy how he and his wife decorate the cabin for the seasons/holidays. And the donkeys and cows are always a plus! If you're in the area, definitely check this cabin out. It's a great place to stay!

Family getaway

This was an amazing place to stay. It was the perfect size for my husband, daughter and myself. The owner was so kind and checked in on us to see if we needed anything. Beautiful stay on the ridge

We loved staying at Mountain Memories! The cabin was spotless and cozy. We loved walking down to the donkeys and Highland cows. We’ll definitely be back!

Getaway

The stay was excellent. My wife and I received this as a gift from our daughters and their families. So glad that sounds great they chose this house to stay. This was a great place. The host was always at the ready to help with anything we needed or recommendations of things to do. We didn’t do a lot as it rained and there was flooding around the area. But that wasn’t a bad thing as this allowed us to relax. We needed the time away. We plan on going back later this year. It was a beautiful area and a great place to stay. Beautiful inside and out.

Clean, Modern Cabin

You can really tell that the owner takes pride in this rental. It’s extremely clean, updated, and has the perfect little touches. We’ve stayed in a lot of rentals where it feels like you get low end leftovers. Not here! From the towels to the toilet paper, everything is provided with quality. We opened the door to beautiful sights, sounds, and smells. Nice touches!

Cute Cabin Off the Beaten Path

Mountain Memories Cabin is such a cute place. The cabin has everything you need for cooking and grilling. There was even food and snacks for us. Just nice little touches throughout. Very clean. The Vrbo pictures are accurate. The beds and furniture were comfortable. After we arrived, Tim and his dog stopped by to say hi, which was really nice. The GPS did take us a bit further down the road but look for the cabin sign and no issues. We love to stay at places that are remote. It was so quiet and peaceful sitting outside on the deck. Close to Red River Gorge. We enjoyed stopping by the farm and feeding the donkeys. I highly recommend this place!

Fun weekend getaway

This was a very nice place, perfect for the 4 of us. A bathroom in each room was an added bonus. The donkey wakeup call in the morning was cute, we all laughed. The owner Timmy was super nice and helpful! We would stay here again if we came back :) Rebekah

A Great Stay

My family totally enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Memories Cabin. Timmy was very helpful with directions and chatting with us during our stay. The cabin is quite nice including the deck with a view of the forest behind. We would highly recommend this cabin to others.

Awesome Place

Perfect Little Place!

The house was so beautiful and comfy we didn't want to leave! The host, Timmy was so nice. My daughter and I both said "I could live here!" when we walked through the door the first time. We hope to come back some day. I'll be planning my vacations around the availability of this cabin.

This property was perfectly located for either seclusion or for visiting beautiful Daniel Boone back country. Near small towns that offer very good dining options. Will be rebooking in April and again May if dates are open.

We love this place!

Beautiful new country cabin! Tim and Pam are amazing hosts! Our granddaughter loved feeding the donkeys next door and making new friends! The Red River Gorge area is beautiful- we recommend Creation Falls and Skybridge trail. So much to do!

Better.. impossible!!

We enjoy stay at the Mountain Memories Cabin.. easy to get here, quite place, The host communication was +1, The cabin had everything we need to cook, comfortable beds, hot water, close enough to get to the Natural Bridge Trail, Gray’s Arch and all the trail. Kroger is about 12 minutes, where we did our grocery. Definitely I will stay here again…
