Thank you so much! I love when people enjoy walking in Manayunk. In many ways, it’s like an old European city.
We strive to make the beds comfortable!☺️
My 2 girls and husband were able to enjoy this cottage perfectly located next to the septa to make it into Philly easy. Parking was a breeze with their recommendations and excellent restaurants nearby. Thank you!!

Walking distance to everything. Cozy place for a nice get-away. Quiet neighborhood right up the road from town. Rental requires ability to walk up narrow stairs. Highly recommend!

Property was not exactly as described. Comfortable beds. Great location. Would recommend.
Only issue was parking. Free lot was full and couldn’t fit our larger vehicle anyways. Paid lot was expensive.
We loved our stay in this beautiful historic home. It was just what we needed and it felt like an oasis in the countryside of England while being seconds from Manayunk. The cold water waiting in the fridge made our day. It’s the small courtesies in this home that made it so comfortable and welcoming. Great place in a fabulous location.

Thank you so much for your kind compliments! Come back again anytime!
Overall great stay, I especially appreciated that they were flexible with pets coming. The only issue was parking which they represent correctly, it is just very hard to park in that lot. Also, bathroom sink was very small but otherwise great stay, would recommend
Our daughter was in an opera in the Venice Island theater and this apartment was a perfect place to stay. One should be aware and careful of the steep, winding stairs but I loved the location and the historical feeling to the place. I would highly recommend it.
The house was super cute and clean. We had a great stay, the only issue was parking. The free lot that we were directed to was more of a patch of grass that we had to drive up onto a curb to get to. I still definitely recommend booking but be aware parking might be rough.
Super charming 2 bedroom cottage in a neighborhood with a lot of activity. I was in town for a wedding so I did not get a chance to walk much, but it looked like a diverse group of people with a young person vibe. Everything was five star for the cottage inside and out. I will give it a slight ding for parking, but that's kinda standard for an urban neighborhood.
This place is as advertised, clean, and close to so much. We planned on cooking at least one night, but there were too many restaurants to try that we ate out every night. Place was well appointed. As other posters have mentioned and the owner has mentioned the stairs are very narrow, it’s a renovated old home. If someone in your group has mobility issues, it’s likely this area isn’t right for you. However, if you take the stairs slow there is no issue. Overall great stay and would stay again.

What makes this property unique
The Saint Davids Cottage is a historic home from Colonial Philadelphia. It is a trinity, which means a room on each floor. Each floor is connected by original spiral stairs. Please make sure you are comfortable with this type of stair and do not have any mobility issues. It is recommended that you travel light, so you don’t have to carry large, heavy, or oversized suitcases up the stairs.
We renovated the cottage to preserve the historical features of both the interior and exterior, while adding updated and modern conveniences. We hope you enjoy your stay!
