Brought my Uncle and cousins to see Liverpool game in Philly and this was a great place to stay overnight. James was always communicating with me before, during, and after our stay. Would recommend stay with host or any other property host has.
Perfect stay for a concert. The walk to the amphitheater is fun and the locals are fun and chatty. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. We would stay again! Had a great weekend!
This unit was great for our family and our trip to Philadelphia. James was a great host, easy to reach, quick to respond and friendly. The unit was clean, tech friendly, had plenty of room, and great features. We were comfortable in the neighborhood but it may not be for everyone. Overall we will stay here again!

The house is very beautiful, however there were a few issues. The ac in the main room didn’t work, and we had a little ant problem. I mentioned it to James(host) and he was very responsive. He said he would get on it right away and thank you for responding in a timely manner. Overall the stay was great the host met my needs and I would book again.

Although the inside of this unit may appear very nice you need to have a CCW to book this property. We, a group of men didn’t even get out of my car to go in as front door was wide open when we arrived, very unsafe area! The buildings all around us were boarded up. So be careful booking as there are no refunds….
We stayed here for just one night after going to the aquarium nearby as a group. The neighborhood is, as said by other reviewers, not the most developed and there are several dilapidated buildings if you walk a couple blocks out, but the sidewalks are clean, the roads are well-paved (mostly; there are some brick streets nearby which could use some work), the door has an electronic lock which needs a code to get inside, and the neighbors are quiet and seem friendly enough. There is street parking as well as a back lot to park in. The stairs are steep (as is common with townhouses) with no upper banister and can be challenging for someone with a disability, knee problem, or balance issues, so please take caution. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was well-stocked, there were plenty of extra blankets available for anyone who wanted them (and it was a bit chilly that night!), and the bunk beds were large enough for small adults to sleep in. There is a kitchen on-site available for use, though we didn't use it except to keep leftovers cold in the refrigerator, so I can't comment on its functionality. I communicated with James over text a few times to confirm the process of booking the rental and the expectations set out for me as a guest, and I appreciated the clarity of his rules, the promptness of his responses, and his availability considering the last-minute nature of the booking. In my opinion, it was a great stay for the price tag.
