Host was very responsive, and the space was much better in person, and very clean. Everything was ready for us when we arrived. It’s been a rough winter so there was some ice build up on the stairs leading down to the hot tub, so it would have been nice to have that checked before arriving. Also there was no tinfoil, clear wrap or wax paper type things so we had to get creative with cooking and keeping leftovers. But overall the experience was wonderful and the chalet was exactly what we needed.

Thank you,

Property well exceeded our expectations! The pictures are amazing - but in person it is even more impressive. Tons of space for everyone, lots of parking available. Most kitchen tools/necessities are provided. Don't forget to bring your own sheets and towels!
The property was very roomy and clean. The hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed. The television needs maintenance as it flicked off constantly. Having more than one dish towel and only one half roll of paper towel wasn’t enough. 3 or 4 dishcloths and dish towels would have been appreciated. We did enjoy our stay and opportunity to spend time together as a family. Lots to do in the area.
The Sterling unit of the Gateside Chalet provided a generous open living eating cooking area equipped with an enormous pine table and benches suitable for a family gathering of ten. The kitchen was well provided with spices oils vinegars coffee plus essential coffee maker and water kettle. Lots of cutlery and plate ware and glasses. The fridge was clean and new with lots of shelving and a large freezer compartment. The three bathrooms were newly rebuilt and were spotlessly cleaned, with soaps shampoos and conditioners.
The main floor also provided wall to wall windows to see the Blue Mountains.
The cottage is exactly as listed in the listing. Everything is as is. What you see is what you get The Good. The cottage is splendid. Has almost everything you’d need. Check in process was fairly easy. It is right between 2 other cottages but there were no issues. The hosts are very communicative and everything is easy to use and understand. The BadSomething that is to note is that there is absolutely no hot water. So prepare for an extremely cold shower. The rooms are also a bit hot at night and there’s loads of mosquitoes so carry loads of bug spray. Oh also not that make serving and dish prepping bowls. If you can stomach or work around those little things I’d say you’d enjoy your stay. The cottage is also close to a lot of things which would make your stay more enjoyable. The hot tub was also a treat. Overall we had a great time and would definitely return
