About this property

Dolly's Ridge Perfect Mountain Getaway

Beautifully done real log home with views that go on forever. With parking right at the door, you'll enter a spacious "great room" with a wall of glass looking to the view. Cozy up to the fireplace in winter or head on out to the deck in warmer weather to enjoy the views. The kitchen and dining room are right around the corner. Easy to get to the side deck from the kitchen, because someone needs to attend to the grill!

On this same level is a bedroom and bath rich with wood tones. Up a flight of stairs is a loft area, perfect reading nook or simply a "get-a-way" spot. Just beyond the loft is a spacious master bedroom and a large master bath, very private space, as you would have hoped for. On the lower level of the home there is a large family/game room, a full bedroom and bath and the laundry. This level also goes out onto the expansive porch for the view.
All this in a coveted area of fine homes. You’ll be between Franklin and Highlands with all the area has to offer.

Dolly's Ridge was great, clean and the three levels were perfect for our family. Great kitchen, plenty of room throughout the house, games for the kids, nice sitting areas on all three levels with an outdoor firepit for making smores. If we go to this area again will definitely check into this place

Gorgeous home, view & immaculately clean

This home is absolutely gorgeous and immaculately clean. In twenty years of renting, this has to be one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed at and the view is fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed. Communication was excellent and the Christmas tree was an unexpected and nice touch for a Christmas vacation.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Dolly’s Ridge. The cabin was beautiful, and the view was fantastic! It was a very peaceful, quiet location. Bring what you want to cook, fire up the gas grill, and just relax. If you need to get away from it all, this is a great spot to go!

Food for the soul!

We absolutely loved our stay! Gorgeous views from a super spacious and well appointed cabin. We played games (provided) and sat by the fire...wonderful family time. We couldn't have been more pleased! In addition, we were able to shop and dine in several nearby towns. Great fly-fishing in many spots was within minutes. Highly recommend!

This cabin is a wonderful place to get away from it all. It has a wonderful, beautiful view, better than even the photos. It is in a nice, secure neighborhood. The cabin itself is fantastic, clean, and just an overall charming mountain cabin. It is a short trip to Franklin , which is a cute town with shops and restaurants. Highlands and Cashiers are also within 30-45 minutes away. We were just here for two nights, one full day, and the cleaning fee was a bit high , but I know it is a standard rate Absolutely would stay again!

Tedious drive

Just wanted to make everyone aware that the drive into highlands is a very curvy, tricky road from this cabin. So if you want any late dinners it is tough night driving.

Great views, lots of room to spread out!

We love this quiet, gated subdivision and it's location. Close to Little TN greenway, Walmart and downtown Franklin. 3 bedrooms and baths on 3 different levels and a fabulous deck! Kitchen and bathrooms were exceptionally well stocked for our 1 week stay. Cotton linens on the beds. The gravel driveway is steep but no problems getting up and down. Hiked to top of the subdivision for 160° views.

New Years exploration

We used Dollys Ridge cabin as our base to go exploring the area. We went to Franklin, Waynesville, Bryson City, Dillsboro, Dillard, iHighlands. The cabin was beautiful and centrally located to many sites to see. It was very clean and well kept. We had no issues or problems at all. However, the internet connection was very poor. Almost non-existent at times. This is the only item I would suggest improving. Loved the cabin and the price was worth every cent!

Beautiful, ever-changing view

With each passing minute, our view would change with the cloud formation and the sunlight. It was truly amazing. Morning light. Evening light. Looked like a painting. Although it's north-facing, the reflection of the sunlight on the clouds and the hills can't be beat. The cabin itself is very nice (the metal roof makes some popping noises at times from expanding and contracting in the heat...which may just be a summer issue...but you get used to it and it's like the place has "personality"). The kitchen is fantastic, large and open, with a great gas stove. The bathrooms and showers are large and very nice. I've had at least two people ask me for information on the cabin so that they can book it, just because they saw my photos on FB. April, the property manager, was very communicative and responsive. Our only issues with the cabin were minor...the wifi is not the best (common in the mountains), and there needs to be more comfortable furniture on the deck. Overall, it's a great place to relax and get-away during these times. We also ventured out to some good restaurants and beautiful waterfalls (don't miss Dry Falls...it's amazing and one that you can walk under).
