I cannot tell you how much my little family enjoyed this cabin by the stream. The cabin itself was perfect and had everything we needed, but the property was just amazing for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and my son says that he can’t wait to rent this cabin again and again.
We had an amazing stay. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was very clean with a warm and cozy environment. We enjoyed that we could hear the stream while we were sleeping. Would definitely rate this stay 10/10 and were already talking about booking it again in August.
This was a neat little place on the river! The host was very welcoming and had a list of nearby things to do as well. I found it very odd having to take our trash to the dump ourselves, but we made it happen though. Wouldn’t mind coming back and staying here again.
We enjoyed our stay so much! The home and location were perfect for our anniversary getaway! Extremely clean and just as described. My favorite part was the beautiful creek on the property. So relaxing!
Everything was Great. The Host Kathy, was on top of everything. Recommendations from food to eat in town and the hiking to every great spot. Also had a local Bobcat introduce himself at the bridge. Didn't have to go far just across the bridge and you was on a trail. Thank you, for allowing us to enjoy your space in the mountains.... We will be back!
This cabin and it's location gave us the perfect family weekend. We hiked to waterfalls, drove to Wayah Bald, and visited the Lazy Hiker Brewery... but we were always just as eager to get back to the cabin and enjoy the creek, fire pit, and hot tub! The proximity to hiking trails and to town were great for us, and we would definitely return!
Nice place with most amenities! Could use a deep clean for cobwebs, walls kinda dirty, windows and algae build up on decks and walk ways. Also could use some new rugs through the house the one in are VERY used!
Very nice stay weather was perfect. Hiking was great home was cozy!

Hello, thanks for viewing our property! We bought this home in 2016 because we loved the location on the stream and the fact it is always 10 degrees cooler here than in downtown Franklin! We live a large part of the time in Georgia where summertime heat is inescapable and the Fall leaves are never quite as spectacular. We decided in June of 2017 to share what we think is a wonderful mountain retreat with others. We hope you love it as much as we do! We have another home 3 doors down if you need more space, VRBO #7935707 as well as another 11 miles away on Lake Nantahala, VRBO # 9453752. Additionally we have 2 vacation homes in the Florida Keys (VRBO #1027392 and VRBO # 2413494) and another on a beautiful lake in Central Florida, VRBO #1090075. We take pride in offering guests immaculate surroundings with tasteful decor and all the creature comforts of home. Your comments and suggestions are welcome as we strive to provide a seamless vacation for our guests! We will be easily accessible via telephone, text, and e-mail before and during your stay. Thank you for considering booking with us.....I hope you'll become a repeat visitor! Kathy Owen
