**March 2025 UPDATE** : NEW SHOWER COMPLETED! We had hurricane damage a few months ago and we have new flooring throughout, as well as a beautiful new tile shower in the primary bathroom. Thank you hurricane! 🌀

2 bedroom lake house just steps to the water, complete with a private dock and plenty of outdoor seating. Flat top grill for lakeside barbeques & fire pit. Pure magic!

Pet friendly for responsible pet owners! Just $50 pet stay for extra cleaning

One level home with a larger bedroom and en suite bathroom offering 2 queen beds. The 2nd bedroom is small and private with 1 queen bed. Extra sleeping space offered in the sunroom futon. 2 full bathrooms. Small dining room table. Fully equipped kitchen. Living room and extra sunroom with water view! Large covered porch with a sink out back, Perfect for the whole family!
Outdoor living space is just perfect for relaxing and swimming and fishing!

We enjoyed our stay there very much. The outside area was very nice being right on the water was very beautiful and relaxing. We plan to try to make another trip maybe next year it would like to rent the place again.

This was our 2nd time staying here and it did not disappoint. Close enough to attractions and stores, but it feels like your far away due to the peaceful and serene setting. Very relaxing trip in a beautiful home, the house has everything you need for a relaxing comfortable vacation.

Clean, pretty, and peaceful

We had such a great visit to this perfect space at Lake Waccamaw! The house had everything we needed, and we enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the lake. We loved taking in the views from the dock and spotting the many beautiful birds along the canal. We explored Whiteville a bit, too, especially enjoying Piggypies Bakeshop! I can’t recommend Docktails Cabana highly enough!

Perfect getaway

I was very pleased with the lake house. Very clean and cozy. The house came equipped with everything. Check in was very easy and hThe host was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend the lake house.

We enjoyed our stay very much. There are a few FYIs that we think are important for potential renters to know:1. There is no natural grass for a dog. There is a small patch of turf only. The grass you see in the photos is the neighbor's grass. Important to know if your dog is picky about where they go potty. You can also cross the street and there is a small strip of grass along the swamp area but it is right on the road.2. Comfortable outdoor seating is limited. It's mostly hard wood seating, aside from the tall chairs under the overhang.3. We did notice a few bugs in the house but that is completely normal for waterfont living.We were happy with the stay, the quiet and peaceful location, the host communication and the amenities/water toys.

Docktails is Wonderful!

Docktails exceeded our expectations! Beautiful view from the back 'porch' area and quiet neighborhood. The house is well stocked and clean. We plan to come back to Lake Waccamaw and will MOST CERTAINLY stay at Docktails when we do. Wonderful vacation spot!

Quiet and peaceful

This vacation rental was as advertised. Very neat and clean, well stocked with all the creature comforts, quiet and peaceful neighborhood for a nice evening walk, as well as amazing waterfront area. We cant imagine staying anywhere else when returning to lake waccamaw.

A Must Rent!

My family very much enjoyed their stay at Docktails Cabana. The space was clean, the views of the lake were unmatched, and the entire process was so easy and convenient for us. Cutest Little Getaway

My friends and I were in town for a wedding and just needed a place close to stay! This was an easy 20 minute drive to the venue that became our little oasis. The beautiful scenery in the morning, topped it all off!
