We are a family of 5 with young children and we loved it! The property had all the amenities that was needed to live comfortably. The kitchen was fully stocked and the home was cozy and comfortable. The yard was great for playing and even had some yard games. The owner was lovely and welcoming. Would 100% stay here again!
A lovely place to stay! The property was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again. My only critique is that the listing description does not mention that there are multiple units on the property and they share the outdoor space, spa tub/grill/fire pit, it turned out not to be a problem but was a surprise. Also to note is the non-smoking (including vapes) and no pets applies to the outside space as well as the understandable inside.

Very odd experience
We travel a lot and this house was the oddest experience I have ever had with VRBO.The good- the house is beautiful and clean. The weird/bad- Starts with check-in. The owner makes you send her a picture of your ID ahead of time. Then she makes you take a picture outside the unit before she will send you the door code on the arrival day. (Not having check-in info feels shady but I didn’t realize this was policy when booking) Check in is at 4:00. We went to the house, I sent my picture by the door and she didn’t respond. I called three times, my husband called, I texted. We got in the car to drive away and 20 mins after we arrived at the property she finally sent the door code. We did not get into the house until after 4:30. No apology, no acknowledgment of the delay, nothing. If you are that concerned about the identity of the renters checking in, I suggest meeting the renters in person. This experience was so unprofessional. Everyone needed to use the bathroom, we had been killing time for 2 hours until check in. I honestly started panicking thinking I had been completely ripped off by the owner/VRBO.Furthermore- The owner was totally confused and randomly showed up at the house the next day. She just walked in to the house and said who are you? I was very startled and said we are your tenants. She thought we had rented a smaller unit on the same property, which was wrong, we rented the 2 bedroom unit. This was just so odd/disorganized. I wouldn’t rent here again.

Nice Stay but...
The overall experience was good considering we were surrounded by family and friends to remember and celebrate our Father who passed.
Some drawbacks were the homeowner double booking the property and not being able to check in at midnight as pre-approved. We had to look for a hotel and after 2 failed attempts finally found one at 2am with sleepy kids and it was pretty expensive! After zero apology or acknowledgement, I was told she couldn't find our convo or my number which she texted me on that morning. Wasn't a great start.
The overall space is shared among 3 different rental units and the owner is on site, often. 11 visits that we knew of including a bizarre visit in the evening that felt rather intrusive.
There are a lot of rules that you are not aware of until you are in the home and honestly it created a rather anxious stay.
The home is a beautiful renovation in a nice location, so that was good. It accommodated a nice group of us which was a plus; the large table was perfect for cards, dice, dinners, laughter, and catching up!
If you are ok with sharing the property and amenities with others and a homeowner that seems to always be there than it will be fine. The house is beautiful (there are several rules to keep it that way, most are common sense but just know they will be provided when you arrive). It is close to a lot of fun things! I hope whatever experience you have, it is amazing because Juneau is an absolutely incredible place to visit!
