We had a great stay at Brigitte's house! Location was great, house was clean and spacious, and the river was very scenic. Would love to come back some time!
Loved the cute house and location of this property. Convenient location to Manchester and surrounding areas. Loved being right on the river, very peaceful and relaxing!
This is a well-located historic property right along the Housatonic River.
The owner, Brigitte, does everything possible to make things comfy.
It’s an excellent choice!

Thank you for your review, Victor, but it is on the BATTENKILL River, not the Housatonic!
The home was gorgeous and was very comfortable. It felt like a secluded spot away from a beautiful little town. There was even seating by the river that provided a beautiful spot to drink coffee each morning. It was just the experience my fiancé and I were looking for!
My family and I enjoyed this house so much. Very clean. La casa esta equipada con todo lo que nesecitas, la cocina, baños, y si quieres leer, una gran variedad de libros. Excellente comunicacion con la dueña de la casa. We want to plan another visit for Winter. In behalf of my family thank you so much. B
We had a brilliant stay in this delightful VT farmhouse, which is completely up to date, and absolutely stunning. Super clean, fantastic decor, great and everything needed-in-kitchen, even a washer/dryer! Brigitte is quick to respond and delightful.
PS...great fishing and relaxing under the willows right on the Battenkill River...
This property is nestled right on the Battenkill, which is exactly where we wanted to be. We bought tubes and tube down the river.
The house was plenty big for the four of us. It was stocked with everything we needed, Including laundry.
Brigitte’s quaint Vermont house was just what our family was looking for for a small winter vacation
The house fit my family perfectly. It was a great experience. Manchester is a great town about 9 miles away with great restaurants. Skiing was not too far away either. Looks like a lot to do in summer there also.
Brigitte was great as well. Very cute home. We had a great time.
We had a beautiful stay on the Battenkill with a stunning river and the coziest home base to explore the valley and the green mountains. Brigitte was extremely helpful and easy to connect to and joy to communicate with. We already wish we were back!
Brigette was wonderful to communicate with and the property is very comfortable and relaxing. Sitting by the fire or river is so rejuvenating. Tubing and kayaking on the Battenkill was so fun. Fishing from the property was also good! Thanks Brigette
We enjoyed our stay in VT. The location of the house was perfect. We were able to launch our kayaks right from the property. There was a Par 3 golf course right across the street which we played many times. You could walk to the village for bite to eat or ice cream. If you just wanted to relax, you could pull up a chair by the river. We enjoyed out stay tremendously. We will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful week in Southern Vermont.
Brigitte's house had plenty of space for our family of 4 and our dog.
The yard on the Battenkill river was amazing, we used the 2 kayaks all week. And even when the weather was not optimal, we stayed on the nice covered porch.
Brigite was very easy to work with.
Would definitely return.
