About this property
Cozy Creekside Cottage- In Town - Pet Friendly
Summary:
Enjoy the sounds of Rock Creek from this classic Red Lodge cottage. Walking distance to Red Lodge's Historic downtown and just across the street from Rock Creek. This home has everything you need for a perfect Red Lodge retreat including fully stocked kitchen, a cozy living area, 2 bedrooms, a pullout sofa and a futon, 1.5 baths, smart TV with Roku, and a private den upstairs. With all the down-home comforts, you will feel right at home here at Cozy Creekside Cottage.
The Space:
This cute home has plenty of space while feeling cozy. This home was originally a Bear Creek coal miners cabin that was brought to Red Lodge. Though the home has all of the warm vintage charm, it has also been updated with modern amenities.
The living room is inviting with cozy furniture, a large picture window in the front to watch wildlife wander by, and an electric fireplace for ambiance and a touch of warmth. There is a large Smart TV with a ROKU so that you can wind down at the end of a budy day of adventure and enjoy your favorite shows. The living room sofa has a queen pull out bed directly facing the window so you can wake up to views of Red Lodge Mountain.
The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything you need for eating in. It has updated appliances such as a new fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave, but it still boast original cabinets and a farmhouse sink. It is a larger kitchen that is not overly common with traditional Red Lodge homes.
The dining room seats 4 and feels like you are stepping back in time. A great space to partake in a game of bridge!
There is a queen bedroom on the main level and a full bathroom just next to it. The room has some storage for your personal items for settling in. The bedding is warm and there is extra just in case you would like to cozy up.
The upstairs has a small den for a quiet retreat. In the den there is a futon that folds down into a large twin bed for some extra sleeping space. One of the best places in the house to open the windows and fall asleep to the sounds of the creek.
Also upstairs is the second bedroom with its own half bath and AC. There is lots of storage for personal items and a quiet cozy space with great views of Red Lodge Mountain.
The large laundry room has washer dryer and an old-school washing sink. There is also an ironing board and iron for getting ready for your Red Lodge events!
Outside there is patio furniture in the summer for enjoying a beverage while listening to the creek across the street. Enjoy cooking some burgers on the grill! There is a small propane firepit for summer nights. This home has some of the best views of the 4th of July Fireworks. This quiet backyard has great access to the creek and park and feels like a little sanctuary.
