1st. The good. The location was perfect. just 1 block away from the short North, the heart of Columbus night life, restaurants and entertainment. The apartment was spacious, and I appreciated the extra blow-up mattresses due to my back not tolerating hard mattresses.
2nd. The Bad. Communcation with the Host and Vrbo was terrible. The first communication with the host was delayed, due to his non-response for 20 hours AFTER I found the room and paid for it. Guess we had to wait for him to accept us as guest. That's ridiculous. The day before we left an email was sent to me saying ALL guest needed to forward copies of their federal ID to the host. I previously sent mine to him, but now my 83 year old mother-in law had to send Her's also. She doesn't drive and has none. After many emails and many calls to the host there was no response. Finally, after repeated text's and calls he responded. He said to ignore the email because he had my ID. So why send the email in the first place, causing severe stress for us?? Basically, we didn't know with 100% surety we had a place to stay until we were 1 hour away from Columbus. If this is the way it works with every Vrbo, I'll book my stays elsewhere.
