Great getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the moment we got there to the time we left the property was a perfect fit. We came with a party of 14 women for a weekend of crafting story’s by the fire and some shopping. Downtown galena was a quick drive from the house so perfect for us all. The house was laid out perfectly. Only tip for future large groups is car pool as much as possible as the driveway is not very big and the garden can did two small cars perfectly but if you have medium to large the it’s only one car. We did fit 7 cars but it was like a game of Tetris but we got it done

We always travel as a larger group so this set-up was perfect. Communication was good as they responded to every message, but one of the fan remotes was missing. We utilized all the amenities and really appreciated the double washers and dryers, and especially the garage fridge for our beverages. Other than minor wear and tear inside and the need for some work in the exterior, we liked this place. Thank you for heping to make this a good vacation.

Everything was extremely clean, hot tub was amazing (but chemicals needed to be checked by day 3), very family friendly for all ages. The host was wonderful to work with and very responsive. There was a strange sewer-smelling odor in the home and around the outside of the property that was present most of the time, but we assume it was not a normal occurrence and plan to stay again since it fit our family so perfectly!

Thanks for your feedback. We did follow up on this issue but our vendor was not able to identify anything concerning. Definitely not a normal occurrence. Future guests, for longer stays, you will need to notify us if you want to select an additional hot tub service for a fee.

Perfect home for golf trip

My family stayed at this property for a long golf weekend. It was located near all the courses and had a multitude of things to do when we were not golfing. There were beds for everyone and the kitchen and dining area easily accommodated all 8 us.
